You don't have the full context. You have only seen a teeny fraction of the altercation and just because someone "says" he stamped on his head does not make it so. He actually stamped to the side of his head. Also the fact the thug was not unconscious and looked somewhat okay in comparison to the female police officer then actual kick to the head suggests it was more of a warning that an attempt to cause serious injury.

It's only complicated if you think it is a problem that can only be solved with hugs and non-punitive measures. Increase stop and search for the "communities" who commit the most crimes, zero tolerance even for first offences and extremely punitive punishments would go a long way to reducing this. Appeasement continues to be a non working strategy.

I didn't say it was "OK" I was implying that it is understandable. It's human nature for males to be protective of females (not beta males obviously as they do not have this instinct so are the ones most outraged by this), so if a thug attacks a female in the presence of other males then it would be expected that the thug would find out that this is not acceptable behaviour. It looks bad, but taken in the context of his female colleague getting her face smashed in then it is understandable.

I hope this officer gets the benefit of context for this as I don't think I would be able to control my temper either if some thug was smashing a female colleague's face in. Actions have consequences and if the guy on the ground was found to have caused previous bodily harm to a female then the sympathies should not be with the thug that took the kick to the head.

If the Elite visa gets the same tax breaks as LTR then it will be worth the money, even at the increased prices they are now. I should be eligible for the LTR next year but if Elite manages to get the tax benefits then it would be nice to have this option in reserve just in case the LTR doesn't work out.

There is no legal minimum wage for illegal workers. If the amount they wish to pay does not meet the expectations for legal workers then they are not paying enough. If the business cannot afford to hire workers for the "going rate" for that kind of work then my point still stands - it is not a viable business. No business is "forced" to hire immigrants. It's always a choice, and when it comes to hiring illegal workers, it's typically an exploitative one.

How is it a ridiculous statement? If a business cannot afford to pay the salaries of legal workers and can only survive by using illegal labour and paying them a pittance, then it is not a viable business model.
