  1. From what I've witnessed while traveling, some foreigners deserve to be discriminated against.  They make it bad for all of us.

I don't understand why racists travel, but they do, plus there are those that expect other countries and people to be exactly like what they are accustomed to at home, and they love to complain about it.

Many of the Premier League players earn well in excess of £100,00 per WEEK, while other staff are being laid off.

It certainly wouldn't do any serious damage to their lavish lifestyles and would set a good example to all those others overloaded with money to cough up in these awful times.

While I agree that these players should be able to afford a temporary cut, so many of them live so far beyond their means that you will see a lot of selfishness and refusal to accept.

Yep just like the beach folks in the states, all back home now and the virus cases or all coming back positive. The beach looks health and it is it is the fools who think they are immune. Bust all of them put them in jail for endangering the population

Yep.  Plenty of Spring Breakers went home with more than the typical hangovers and herpes this year!

Mardi Gras attendees have also helped turn New Orleans into the next death zone.

Meanwhile the stores are asking customers to allow at-risk shoppers such as the elderly, disabled, and pregnant women to pay for their shopping first.

What kind of half-arsed guideline is this?  Stores in other countries are allowing seniors & handicapped to shop during the first hour of business so they can reduce exposure and not get pushed by crowds.  How hard would it be for Thailand to do the same?

The virus is already in the community...allowing a few more infected in is only pissing in the river anyway...it's all about image and saving face now...As other posters have pointed out containing individual cases and tracking contacts is only relevant before the virus is in general circulation...

I think it is more to prevent full scale panic if 70,000,000 people all suddenly realize that they're about to be hit with deaths like Italy is suffering.

There are probably a lot of nervous generals preparing private planes right now.

Why do they not promote the use of bleach solution for cleaning? A two litre jug of Chlorox is cheaper than their 'alcohol'. A one percent solution should kill 99 percent of bugs.

Presumably this 'alcohol' is denatured or is it (more likely) ethanol?

Bleach is not meant to clean human skin while alcohol combined with lotion or aloe vera becomes hand sanitizer.

70% isn't the best though as hand sanitizer should contain 60%+ to be effective to kill viruses.  Typical hand sanitizer is made with 2/3 90%+ alcohol and mixed with 1/3 aloe or lotion.

Thailand Post is sanitizing all incoming packages which will cause a short delay. Regular letter post has been only airmail for years and is still operating. Shipping parcels to the US is stopped, by US postal service.

Are they really sanitizing anything, or are they just putting a 72-hour hold on shipments, which is how long it takes for covid-19 virus to die on surfaces?
