In the land of fake......why would anyone have a tattoo procedure done here?

Scarred now for life because it was cheap.

Dude, are you aware henna is not a real tattoo?  It's just staining the skin like using a permanent marker.

Unfortunately, black henna mixtures contain ingredients which may be an irritant, as this person found out.

GSB’s research centre estimated that if China could control the Covid-19 outbreak within three months, Thailand would lose 1.6 million Chinese tourists and Bt80 billion in tourism revenue and GDP might drop by 0.4 per cent. If it took China six months to control the situation, Thailand could lose 3.5 million Chinese tourists, Bt170 billion in lost revenue and it would slash GDP by one per cent.

Only 1%?  I'd say way more than that!

Nobody reports all of their income for taxation, especially service sectors like restaurants, trinket shops, taxi-drivers, unregistered hotels, air bnbs, etc.

Then there are the prostitutes, gambling houses, loan sharks, drug dealers, extortion rackets who prey on both tourists and Thais alike.

  3. Apple isn't a "bubble stock", as my investments in Apple have split 11-times over decades.  They sell a real product in a competitive global market.

Having worked and lived in Silicon Valley my entire life, I have encountered plenty of trash-talkers, but they typically either afraid, missed the boat, cannot afford the product, or don't understand the economics of technology.

  4. The reason why TAT is valuing Chinese tourism is because of sheer numbers.  China already has more "middle class" than any country in the world.  By 2022, there will be over 550 million Chinese considered "middle class" by income.  These are the people Thailand is counting on to visit in en-masse into the future, not individual farang retirees, sexpats or grundgy backpackers.  They want people to visit, take pictures, buy some trinkets and then F-off back home.

I don't have to like this, but I understand their reasoning.

Found in a bedroom at his house were ecstasy, ketamine, cocaine, two types of ganja, scales and plastic bags for distributing the drugs. He admitted at the police station that it was all his.

No mention of cash nor jewelry...

When have you read of a bust without wads of cash being found with the drugs?  And jewelry, seems like heavy gold chains and expensive watches would be part of his "personna".

Well as long as the WHO knows the true figures.

They don't.  The WHO has no authority to make any country do anything.  The WHO merely performs a study and advisory role.

They have already stated that they do not believe China has been releasing true numbers about coronavirus infected, nor have WHO scientists been allowed access to quarantine areas.
