Anyone seeking medical advice on TV must already be delirious from fever.

Reading through the first page of posts, it really is a case of the blind leading the brain dead. It's a miracle that Darwin's survival theory hasn't come into play and culled more of the farang population.

    THIS!

Currently, there is no known treatment, nor vaccine for covid-19 so stop spreading fake information.

Antivirals, including HIV treatments have not shown much promise.  Even social media like Facebook is trying to remove all mention of covid-19 treatments/prevention because they do nothing.

I'm surprised nobody has suggested leeches and regular bleeding to let out all those "bad" covid viruses!

I know!  How about vitamins A-thru-K via suppositories?  No need to verify, I swear they work so just give 'em a shove!

There is emerging evidence that this COVID19 was around in at least November last year.

A Sky news video interview has recently surfaced (yesterday) with a guy named 'Connor Reed', he lives in Wuhan working as a teacher and became ill towards the end of November.

Now it's highly unlikely he was the first person to catch this virus in Wuhan so it's anyones guess as to how long it was around before this guy became infected, his infection was confirmed, last year in Wuhan. It's now March.

The Wuhan quarantine came at the end of Janauary so it was 'in the wild' for at least 2 full months.

A Canadian medical team also came to the conclusion that covid-19 has been around since November.  Their mathematical modeling of covid-19 spread did not make sense if using a December start, but when they tried using November, the numbers made sense.

  3. Madoff's wife lives in a nice condo in Greenwich, Connecticut and was allowed to keep $2,5000,000.  Far less than the luxury she was accustomed to, but still a very comfortable life.

Bernie wants to go there to live out his last days.

I think he should remain in prison for the entirety of his 150-yr sentence.  After that, whatever's left of him should be flushed down the toilet where they will flow to New Jersey!

Absolute unmitigated nonsense. People travel of their own free will to work. Are you seriously suggesting 5000 Thai girls were taken against their will and forced into prostitution in S Korea?

Seriously?  Are you that much in denial about human trafficking?  You really think village girls from Isaan know how to get passports and how to correctly file visa applications in Korean?

Traffickers recruit young village girls with promises of jobs working in hotels, restaurants and factories and to take care of all their paperwork in return for a small percentage of their wages.  But when they arrive, they have their passports taken away and are forced into the local sex industry to work-off their "debts".  Usually this debt can never be repaid and they incur additional "debts" as they are traded between brothels until they eventually are abandoned.

What do you suggest as solid virus scanning software?

So you haven't used any securities in the past?

It's likely you weren't "hacked" but were careless when going online.  Do you like to use free wifi at cafes, hotels, etc?  People can easily grab your session data if you haven't taken precautions.

Next, learn about phishing/spoof attempts and don't click any attachments from unknown sources or fake emails asking for banking/account info.

In USA its free testing, but thats a long walk.

Nothing is free in the US, especially medical care.

I have also read about covid-19 test costing US$3,200 -after insurance co-pay, but the individual was just paranoid and not in a high-risk group.

  7. The reason why people are still going on cruises is because they have pre-paid for the cruise and can't get a refund.

I read a recent article about a family set to lose USD32k if they didn't go on their planned cruise.

Cruise ship operators are not treating "epidemics" as grounds for cancellation or refunds, nor are travel insurance willing to cover this.

  8. Turn off the AC and put on your thickest clothes and have a sweat session.  Hit the sauna if possible.

There's a reason why you have a fever when you catch a cold/flu, because elevated body temperatures kill viruses, including the covid-19.

This is probably the reason why Thailand hasn't gone full "plague zone" yet.

you can't apply western sensibilities to Thai real estate.

Seen 2 real estate crashes in the US, 3 if you count when I was a kid... Also Europe, Hong Kong, even in Lebanon.  RE bubbles happen everhwhere, prices get inflated, crash then the bank repos everything.

When the mass repos happen in Thailand, bank officers will unload bad debt wholesale - just like how they were taught in Western business schools.

This may not take place until China's RE crashes.  The properties in Thailand were purchased using loans from highly leveraged Chinese real estate.  The bubble that pops in China will affect the global market, Thailand will be just a footnote.
