Unless you are asking to get a retirement visa (some good deals on such for special groups) there is no need for any visa agent. You can stay for 3 years just extending original entry before you have to leave for 24 hours and start again. Nobody is going to tax anything - but until you get ID card will have to use bank ATM or money transfer service for funds (first few months) as card required to open bank account. In any case your location will be a major factor on any recommendations.

Normal recommendation is about every six months (cleaned on wall - only outer case removed - power wash with detergent). And they normally need this cleaning and you will notice colder air. Only costs about 600 baht from most stores and about an hours work for both units. Take a look at the water coming down from wall unit if is any doubt of the need for cleaning.

You might want to check your tax payment requirements in Thailand if using "income" to support your stay. Thailand has said they will be making tax claims on such money starting in 2024.

If from USA that is the method used - 65k per month documented to come from overseas for income method. As for Embassy/Consulate they are not immigration so could accept something else for visa issue - but suspect this is just an oversight as the 65k per month is only required for about 3 countries - all others immigration will accept Embassy letter of income. If you can not meet the income requirement the 800k in bank account only needs 2 or 3 months before one year extension can be provided. The requirement for extensions is show of bank passbook plus one year of bank statements - suspect Embassy would be the same - if they accept.

I seriously doubt that signature would be accepted as it was the previous system and is no longer accepted by Immigration. The current income proof is 12 months of 65k or above each month to a Thai bank account in your name only. If you can use the 800k method you could convert tourist visa or visa exempt entry to one 90 day non O and extend for one year.

Am sure people have better luck than me but I have never had good luck with such units installed in hospitals or hotels - scalding hot more often than not as most places do not have cold enough water to mix it with. Understand units can be adjusted a bit but this does not appear to be the norm here (or too lazy to adjust several times a year as water temps change). Find local hot shower only much more to my liking.

Actually it could be the same problem - as I said my inside unit would run but outside would not - but turning off breaker for 5 minutes reset outside unit to start cooling again. But this does not appear to be your issue if now working normally except for turning off. Hate to suggest but remote is not set for for some operation that would keep it active (they build way too much into units for my old brain).

What brand is it? Have you turned off main breaker for few minutes and then turn on and see if it starts again? That will work for some board issues (until next power failure). But if have to replace board 3k is likely a good price - we paid 5,500 few weeks ago after voltage drop to 108v for extended period during the night.

I can say for a fact they did check this for my application at CW in June of last year and until they got proof in form of copies of previous year would not accept application because I had used income method but also had money in bank until 2 months after extension. Since then CW has been notating retirement extension of stay method used in passport from reports here.

I have older BMax and very happy with it. That happened on my first order (Prime member) and did not catch it as checkout totally changed (not improved). Seems you have no choice of times anymore and they determine how it is shipped by the time of day (a noontime order was sent express within an hour).
