  1. Believe you have a one year extension of stay from agency and intend to apply for another (but not use agency)? So they obtained first extension using 800k in bank method? Was this based on real location and financials? You are from a country whose Consulate will not issue a letter of annual income? Payment by Wise is not an issue as long as into account in just your name and recorded as international transfer. If not so recorded you can download Wise paperwork and contact the bank paying in Thailand to your account for proof of external source (or immigration might accept Wise paperwork). You would likely require bank statements for the year as well as passbook/copies and bank letter of account balance/ownership.
  2. Where are you going in a communist country without a passport? Don't believe many do it,
  3. They ask account during online process - suspect you have more than one account on record and did not make the right choice (they may have changed page format and you missed?). You could still use for income if account is your name only - but might have to download transfer receipt and get confirmation from bank of international transfer.
  4. Perhaps you should not judge by Europe standards if you find them so bad and see what happens. In my last 30 years of ordering thousands of items here in Thailand have had nothing go missing that was not traced to issues in richer countries.
  5. Well that was an extension on the Embassy building and Consulate moved into it in the late 70's. The Embassy building had to be raised at least one time to get it above the normal flood levels. The current Embassy compound was an apartment complex for Embassy employees before they built the new building there. It has been several years since in that area.
  6. Medical facilities could be a serious issue.
  7. That may or may not be true for Thailand - I have had 3 Siemens/Bosch brands of dish washers and all have had serious issues - which in Thailand is both costly and time consuming to fix. Rats seem to have easy access and love the taste of the electronics.
  8. Bosch dish washers I have had were in English. Expect washers will be the same.
  9. Understand you can't win that - but we seem to have plenty of sun even in the rainy season as only takes an hour or so - we installed a dryer about 45 years ago but was only used a couple of times a year (and the ants liked to short out the electric panel).
  10. Panasonic NA-FS16V7 in Nov 2019 at 17,750 baht from HomePro. Has since been discontinued. Probably because of the detergent dispenser/air mixer sounding like a jet engine (spins very high speed). https://www.panasonic.com/my/support/product-archives/consumer/home-appliances/washers-dryer/top-load-washer/na-fs16v7srt.specs.html https://home.abenson.com/panasonic-na-fs16v7srm.html
  11. Last several Japanese brand top loaders we have bought had built in level.
  12. Not much of an issue with sun dried laundry here.
  13. Can not help as use top loaders to soak and avoid bending (wife will not consider front loader). But do you really need 90c temp? We have bought top loader with heater but heater has never, ever, been used. There just is no need with Thai water temps. Believe there are many Korea/Japanese brand front loaders on market now so would take a look at them as probably better priced and good quality.
  14. Yes - but best not to point it out if you can understand - but the issue is often use of wrong term results in wrong answers - so at times further explanation is required.
  15. Which is the case for marriage - it is not a local office decision so money should be available for check until final approval to be safe.
  16. As said Hat Yai probably has more tourists per capita than any other city in Thailand. But they come from Malaysia and Singapore (and mostly on the weekends). As the city is small most would not require transportation as it is easy to walk (and full of merchandise for sale).
  17. Map to residence is all I ever provided at CW until they insisted on a TM30 being on file a few years ago - since then provide that receipt, map to residence and TM47 receipt. Annual renewal at CW would be extension of stay.
  18. I changed to 16GB Ram BMax at 8k three months ago and very happy with it. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/i3346863493-s13103513797.html? Also bought this 32" monitor for 5.5k - very happy with combo. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/i4359785225-s17384159564.html?
  19. The post I read seemed to be about in the bank marriage extension of stay financials and a specific officer asking for additional information. Which seems to happen on occasion.
  20. Many moons ago - believe about 22-24 years. But physical set up seems to be about the same - you enter Thai area but turn right path to American Citizen area - not much change since they opened in the late 70's.
  21. Immigration can ask to see financials during the 30 day marriage extension review process. Some risk - but probably small.
  22. Indeed evidence of the visa not being a shortcut to long term stay - or if not married getting so. In our case key factor was we had applied for INS entry after marriage and been approved - but said forget it and did not apply for the immigrant visa and decided to live here - several years later applied for tourist visa and immediately approved when official read INS approval documents and learned we decided to live in Thailand. I was in the waiting area with documents and official asked wife to have me come to window with them. So the more evidence of making a life here the better.
  23. Again this is a foreign pay for service exchange. It appears you would have to become a paid member to even interview potential sitters? Not my idea of being a Thai service.
  24. Sorry but this is Thailand. There are no such organized services/references "that could be relied upon" that I am aware of.
