  1. Do not use mobile banking or even use a smartphone so that is not an option and Mobile banking is red "X" as an option on normal computer screen. If need enough can use cash on delivery but order a lot so that is not a friendly system if can be avoided - and using Lazada avoids that. As said I used to be a big fan of Shopee when could pay with bank transfers.
  2. Find the click on empty to be required on most banking sites also. But Lazada was flakey even with correct password so changed to Google and no more issues.
  3. Shopee removed the bank transfer option a year or so ago and will not accept foreign credit card. They lost me with that move.
  4. Reverted to that Google for the past year - direct sign on was hit or miss and kept changing - no trouble to make the extra click for Google and that always works (at least until now).
  5. There have been long delays since early August at CW (which was a month of holidays/elections). But those that waited for approval seem to have received approval. Mine took 16 days but it was approved as expected. Many took it upon themselves to make other arrangements rather than waiting - but those that waited seem to have received approvals in the end. It is not overstay - you can wait - you have an electronic receipt for your reporting.
  6. 1. You can keep phone number with another provider - believe takes a few days but a simple process. 2. Are you sure AIS will improve things? 3. DTAC is now owned by True. 4. 3 calls in a minute? Are you sure these are not hang ups as often used by delivery drivers to get you to pay for call? Suspect they might hang up before your phone can ring but not sure of that.
  7. Did US debit card in July and refund was in account within 3 days (next business day) but believe they say 15-30 days. Believe that next cycle is credit card accounting.
  8. In my experience refunds very fast to my US bank card (cancel or unshipped items). Suspect defective or returned items might not be.
  9. Indeed - but in my experience there may be less attention to sterile procedures or environment.
  10. Not sure what you mean. Often you pay full price on first visit. As for price there is basic root canal and then additional cost for cover (which may also need additional cost for post to hold it). Could be 4 visits or more involved for everything. Your prices seem high for just RCT so suspect were for complete treatment including inexpensive cover (some crowns can cost more than 20k each so obviously did not include that).
  11. And you can buy from the same stores on Lazada links I provided. Lazada may have issues with some sellers - but the platform is legit - as are most sellers.
  12. Who are actually selling on Lazada. https://www.lazada.co.th/catalog/?q=jib&_keyori=ss&from=input&spm=a2o4m.home.search.go.11257f6dOj2AN5 https://www.lazada.co.th/tag/banana/?q=banana&catalog_redirect_tag=true
  13. I have had good results with Toshino brand bought on Lazada. And they securely accept all types of plugs and well made. https://www.lazada.co.th/shop/toshino-official-shop/?
  14. As said Duma has been popular for decades to those wanting cheap accommodations and a walkable city on the water (not really a beach). It is not on tourist map as has few such attractions but was/is a solid home for many in a location not normally subject to typhoons. Over time, population has greatly increased (mostly just PI population) and the once walkable city has become much the same as others with little room for walking. Medical facilities are lacking, even with the university, so not as good as closer to Cebu for those with medical issues. Very few condo accommodations so homes, with the security risks that entails. Limited shopping and eating options. But cost of living likely be lower than most alternative destinations.
  15. You get the same warranty paperwork if buying from a store front or online. Some store fronts will act as your agent (but often only for a week or so and work is done by maker so extra transport time may be involved). As long as you save sales receipt/warranty card you should get normal repair service regardless of where bought. The issue would be gray market items sold on platforms as they often do not have local warranty card - but normally they advise such in listing.
  16. If you buy a mini computer like BMAX they are ready to run - only have to attach HDMI to your TV or monitor and set the input. Attach a USB mouse and keyboard and the power supply. Press on and comes up - believe you have to set local time but that is about it. Really easy. I still use a Nokia basic phone but had no trouble setting computer up. In worst case you could easily take to your local computer buy as will attach to any monitor or TV so fits in pocket (along with power supply cord).
  17. Buy from a LazMall or other known source. It is a bad seller - not Lazada - that can be an issue. Read (several times) and make sure they have a record and sales. As said most of the major computer stores have sales on Lazada platform.
  18. As believe I posted elsewhere I bought a BMAX 3 and a 32 inch ViewSonic monitor on Lazada a few months ago to replace an old all in one system and am very happy with the set up. No noise and a unit that could be put into a large pocket and attached to hotel TV.
  19. Suspect you have a Thai beard or like the stubble look if you find no difference between cheap and expensive. Even the cheap real Phillips 1000 series will not shave me - but the 5000 series does. Difference between shaved and not shaved. As for the 500 baht shavers - might as well use a piece of wood - nothing removed at all.
  20. Well my last was received on the 22nd after a 16 day wait so it has been taking a long time for approvals this month.
  21. As said pay any local bill in baht - had same experience at same hospital several decades ago when DCC was first available. At first it did not make that much difference (but normally worse than baht payment) as home bank did not change extra for card foreign usage but they soon got wise to that ploy and added a foreign usage fee making DCC even less attractive.
  22. Fuel up has been on my dime every time - any stop is a completed trip/pay and must restart meter to continue unless driver in agreement not to do so. This is my experience over 5 decades. Actually meter taxi rule was intended to end this practice - Thai being Thai often do ask but normally only if going out of the way or from commercial zones where drivers do not want to use meter. Actually most Thai will tip up to next ten baht and with price currently a larger tips is always appreciated. Taxi transport here is just about the cheapest in the world even with a few baht tip.
