Yes but 5G in phone talk is 5th generation - not 5Ghz frequency as in WiFi. Apples and oranges.
-
Sorry missed that - not sure as stick with Nokia less than smart phones myself but grand child in university pays about 400 baht per month and seems to take care of everything, including computers (and she in online most of the time).

In that case an entry Samsung A01 or the like at about 3k should be fine - but do get a protective cover for it. Less expense if lost/broken and should work fine for what she needs.

In my experience they will all provide such and if additional testing required will have it done at hospital eye department by a trained optometrist or ophthalmologist. Eye exam (20 foot/computer/pressure) will likely be first step before even having doctor visit. There is a severe shortage of trained optometrists in Thailand as it only became a profession about 10 years ago. Ophthalmologists routinely provide prescribing functions.

Did not see but indeed rows should overlap so no space between spikes - costs more but works 100%.

Actually might be good to buy phone/plan from True/AIS/DTAC as often get a good discount tied to phone plan (which will be needed in any case).

Obviously you are talking a time wasting social media item as good phones for calling/SMS sell for about 1k. Samsung is likely the best choice as most know how to use and they work well - but best in case as cheaper models tend to slip of out hand and become trash fast.

A full exam at a private hospital (immediate on demand) would likely not cost more than 2-3k or so. Obviously if issues found cost for additional tests could increase price but eyesight is not something you want to take a chance on. Note you wrote you purchased eyeglasses at a chain store and in most peoples experience that is where the real high costs are found. The cost for real doctor and hospital costs are really quite reasonable.

Where and for what? Copies don't have an expiration date AFAIK. That would be up to the party using the copy?

Hospital stay is not required and risk is very low (this operation is performed out patient in some of the least clean settings in the world). Hospital stay is sometimes part of the service here as it is relatively cheap and they can be sure eye is properly covered for sleep and they do need to see you next day Actually you should have good distance sight if using normal method and indeed colors with be extreme for a time (until our brain dims them back to what we expect). And these lens are also imported. They should use special computer to measure size and strength of lens and order based on that (although they may well have in stock).

On by light - off by dark AC exhaust fan switch
lopburi3 replied to lopburi3's topic in The Electrical Forum
Was thinking that - and had hope one might actually have an external wire to do so - but they all seem to be sealed box units and likely beyond my current eyesight/solder abilities. ???????? -
On by light - off by dark AC exhaust fan switch
lopburi3 replied to lopburi3's topic in The Electrical Forum
That sounds right sensor power on (dark) will open contacts external relay cutting power fan. Not pretty but should work. Thanks. -
Quick check of Lazada only shows on at night off at dawn type switch and most circuit box type are motion only. Have bath where would prefer not to run wire and looking for way to use on/off wall box fan control to sense light on and off to turn fan on during time light is on. Seems easy but all sensors appear to only operate on with dark. Any ideas/source/laugh.

Thailand’s national park chief in custody on corruption charges
lopburi3 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
You paid 500k to remain as a park director in a position near your home or you were transferred as far from home as possible is the claim. Other charges were 18 to 30% of various park funding taken from the top. -
If you use Chrome and translate it can be better than Lazada at times - search function is much better. But as of now there is no bank payment options available (never accepted foreign CC and now bank transfers are out due recent issues so have stopped using.
