  1. Even without ad blocker, it actually is often not loading the ad there correctly and then instead loads another square google ad under the content bar with the title. This is super annoying, that is essentially how you motivate people to use ad blockers.
  2. That's advertising space, they still have this configured wrongly.
  3. You lost already and yet you go on and on... time for you people to go, forever.
  4. That's the most retarded thing I read on this forum in years. It's actually the opposite, you have to be very stupid to get a TIN. It's already clear who is the boss at your house, the wife lol. Do you also jump of bridges when others do it?
  5. Desperate benefactors or employees at the pathetic news company running it. Same they can't even properly configure this open source forum software with normal ads, instead they spam you to the max, which in reality costs them ad income. Thai style, stick your head in the sand and ask more.
  6. Clearly you didn't get enough water as your posting this crap.
  7. 'Good security at a condo' that is all in your own imaginary mind then. LOL! Just buy an airtag, it wil have statistically higher chance of doing that job. For the love of god, use some farmer brains.
  8. You will be jailed unless giving the officer a BJ, you have to ask them for the fine 69 option. Yes, there are stupid questions.
  9. Bangkok has rarely changed as of what the OP mentioned indeed; the income and Thai lifestyle has barely changed, the 'inflation' that in reality is very little, is only applied there. In all other places, mainly preying on tourist dollars aside of their farm life, however, try to milk foreigners since 2016 +. Obviously you do get the same taste of that medicine if you venture down to the commercial tourist wahalla's such as lower sukhumvit etc. But yeah to cut to the point: Bangkok is very attractive nowadays in most areas. It also still has that original Thai feel to it, like it was 5-10 years ago + longer. Almost anywhere I have bee recently, from Vientiene to Phnom Penh to most places in Thailand, it is all clearly depressing and on the brink of a economic collapse. Only place that seems and is thriving is Vietnam. For BKK (and it's 99% locals), I doubt much changes, in fact, it might even get better if a economic collapse happens, for those with money. Nightlife same thing: prices of 2-3-4k short time seem to be normal in most cities while it's still 1k in BKK. But Pattaya just as cheap.
  10. Bangkok The old senile man from up north speaking again clearly, he doesn't even know 4 parts of Bangkok...
  11. Graveyard might be a place to find people. What is the point anyway to meet with random other people, to go to a place that is more of quality and service to begin with? Isn't that what you do with your other half, friends or a date? Thailand is already a super low entry and social country, if you can't chat up a stranger here it will happen nowhere.
  12. Happens, can't understand these situations too, at least there would be screaming one would think.
  13. Super boring and quiet there, hard to get lucky. How you manage to get such expensive tickets, you could fly maldives round trip for that.. Not sure what you are on about too, I just checked myself and the average one way direct flight for entire months available is 2K baht. This routes one needs to pre-book too same as any southern destinations, still plenty of options for 3K baht. One can choose to pay 10K to fly to Samui as well. Meanwhile one can fly for 250-300 euro one way to Europe nowadays...
  14. I always joke that owning most businesses here is like buying a job at best, you essentially work for the landlord and officials.
  15. Leftish people are such terrible losers.. and it's full of them here, Americans specifically. When they won, the entire world news was quiet at once. Now they are near losing again and the full fight and hate it is on, and if they lose, they will continue as well until the next election to try and burn anyone. Just watch now how they already try to hate on Musk again for having contact with Putin. Pathetic.
  16. What is the point of contacting them as the kid is 21 already, he is no longer a child after 20. So it is too late. Likely even at 18 already. Kind of a huge miss obviously, that person could have had a western passport.... There is quite a few half thai kids even to which this happens, when the dad dies unexpected and they were not married. Get it done if you can get it done, don't delay stuff like this. Same for adopting. It's like throwing away a 250-500K USD passport / second life option.
  17. Has zero to do with my personal preferences, it simply is dead in Chiang Mai, anyone knows that. People stating opposite are merely defending their poor positions or full of crap, like so many on this forum living under their rocks. Some lived decades in TH and are still clueless on most ends, just the other day someone tried telling us here that there are no corrupt checkpoints in Bangkok too >< Pathetic really. It's cliche too, it's the same with anything in life. If Chiang Mai in this subject actually would be just a tiny bit attractive or fun, you would have read or heard as much about it as in the good old years, and you do not. In fact, I only hear tourists being disapointed, even it's a nice city to have visited. It's a bit like they went to the best (Vietnam) to then arrive at some overpriced scam place with old muppets. Never seen such a dead expat community too, there is a few leaving every 2 weeks.
  18. I agree entirely, having basically been in between Bangkok and Chiang Mai for the past decade aside of everywhere else in TH. There was a short momentum with hope when digital nomads was a new thing and it was super vibrant and cool ('14 - '15). Ever since it has been down, ever since covid trash. It's starts to be like Chiang Rai or Vientiene in terms of nightlife too. Boring. There is actually barely any people to be found inside any areas of places, yet there is always traffic jams due to people driving like absolute idiots stopping in the middle of the road, double lane driving, driving 20-30 where 50-80 is allowed. Then burning season. But I guess it can be good for a 'old' person who is mainly at home with AC and air purifiers, on a budget. Then again, in that scenario one could live anywhere else too on the same budget.
  19. True that, most who smoke the garbage also need much much more in a J than I just need a few sprinkles to get high from.
  20. Typical american answer i guess, what do you not understand about it? You think they build this huge building for the visa appointments? Obviously it's a S load of americans who need to work in there. And who will be living there, all the time.
  21. If it was written in 2016 it would be true, those days are long gone.
  22. Yet the biggest embassy ever was build right in Chiang Mai 😄
  23. Never did 90 day reports in a decade, never had issues except a fine once for 1400 baht or something.
  24. Seems nobody mentions the bomb of CM since many years: Auf der Au Garten, western buffets for peanuts... Well for those who live under rocks: https://g.co/kgs/PK1jQzw
