What's the dullest place in Thailand?
ChaiyaTH replied to Tuco Ramirez's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
You forget thailand has a lot transit arrivals not actual tourists. Also many backpackers stay 1-2 months in vietnam nowadays, most tourists here do not. -

Chiang mai -
Stop talking BS already, it is in fact the exact opposite lmao. Density: Gaza is one of the most densely populated areas in the world. Displacement: Near total — almost all 2.3 million residents displaced. Infrastructure: Entire cities leveled; most hospitals, schools, and water facilities destroyed. Child deaths: Among the highest proportions seen in modern conflicts.

Crime Russian Woman Arrested for Prostitution on Koh Phangan
ChaiyaTH replied to webfact's topic in Koh Samui News
I have a family life and business already, that you dated 4 woman over your entire existence is cool but not really functional for a high roller. -
Of course they try to make you resign if this is your current state and it went from good to bad to worse... You would be a toxic person in the work place that impacts overall productivity, even if that is not your intention. What do you expect? You either change yourself into functional or that job is a dead road.

BS the fact there even is filming means it is really over the limits X3 or more already, the tolerance and Thai expected norms are the easiest all over Thailand on Phangan. It is constantly either russian/ukranians or israeli's causing most of these issues, things that are not 'nightlife' related. Also it is not as if they are there mostly and that that makes it logical that the same nationality then keeps popping up, there is as much of any nationality, ethnicy, religion there. -

You clearly not been on phangan yet, for example. -
Try telling that at various borders, they clearly state we not want to see you more than twice. They even make it hard on purpose without agents in general already on any time you go let alone repeated. Laws and rules mean nothing if they are just disregarded or applied at random at various airports, borders and IO's.
-
Yeah no issue with agents but you would still be restricted to 2 border runs per year, ideally you just only want to use 1 and have 1 left for emergencies. Guess safe entry arrivals by airport are a thing lately yet I know friends who now did visa runs for years and so far never got stopped, while I with a child and paperwork get hassled. It's just random, soon they will beg for tourists again and they not care again too.

Switching to a new phone - massive ballache
ChaiyaTH replied to scubascuba3's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
Gotta love apple for this same as computers. I can basically just ditch, break or lose any of my devices and get a random second hand or new one to recover in maybe 10-15 minutes or 1 hour for all files with good Internet on top too. -
Why are you still in Thailand, not in Vietnam?
ChaiyaTH replied to JoseThailand's topic in General Topics
Happens as much here as there the difference is that Vietnamese will not play games around it. Same if they dislike you, you will know. I actually dig that honesty. -

Most I know that did not have a girlfriend or history here already, let alone kids like myself too, left there since quite a few years now already. Like prior covid that started to happen already. Most I know including a few europeans and americans just did 90 day back to back without issues since that time too. I actually have still considered moving there as there is talks about better expat / digital worker solutions in the future as it is even better for housing prices and schools too. Would not be worried as much about myself or my son visa wise but mainly about her as of being Thai. I guess for many older expats here or retirees, they would not fit in that easily there too. Not with what they have here in thailand at least. Like here i generally come across people who are bitter or divorced at least once from the west while in Vietnam it's happy retired couples in their 50s. -
With agents not need to stay over night for both northern laos borders as well malaysia, aside from that ranong is another option too. Without agents 2 nights. As far I know the best deal at the moment is still do to Ranong for around 2400 baht fee on the border or packages from like islands at 4000 baht total. If you plan to go by train yourself anyway you might as well then just give in to the 2 nights and make it a holiday. Have great resorts there anyway, get one with a pool and some beers, not that bad for a few days.

Crime British Tenant Trashes Pattaya Rental, Landlord Seeks Legal Action
ChaiyaTH replied to Georgealbert's topic in Pattaya News
I call it BS, you never will be cut off until you would already have gotten a second bill. That's way over a month nearing 1.5-2 months. Maybe some small provinces are more strict than others with that but I never seen that in larger cities / provinces. -

Never had my electric being cut off but for water it costed not more than 1K baht to get connected again. It's this old dude who always makes the bills by hand and removes them by motorbike, since he knew i was travel often he stopped doing it. I just think it's stupid, water is a primary need and we talk 50-100 baht a month. -

Easily takes 2-3 months before they actually cut you off, water much faster. Happened to me a few times while traveling. -

Thailand and many countries the real adult age is 20-21, parents can still be liable until that time for various things.
