  1. Can you show the onward ticket on the phone or better to print it out?
  2. I am 30 years old I will be in chiang rai yes, DTV sounds good but for now i am ok to stay in thailand for 6 or maximum 9 months
  3. Ok thanks for the info. I saw that METV is a bit expensive and now you can still get 60 days for free so i am thinking to just come to thailand visa exempt 60 days, then i will extend for 30 days at my local immigration. I will do 2 border run that would give me the opportunity to stay 6 months more, so i could stay for a total of 9 months, without having to apply for a METV I've already purchased a ticket flight from my country to thailand. I still got much time to apply for a visa or not. am still thinking if apply for a METV or just fly without a visa, just buy an onward ticket that i can show to the airline prior the departure, in case they may ask
  4. Sorry once again. But if i may enter thailand visa exempt i don't risk being able to do only one border run and not 2 border run in a calendar year? So maybe it would have more sense to apply for a single tourist visa, so i can have the possibility to do 2 border run in a calendar year that would give me the opportunity to stay in thailand for at least 9 months. 60 days tourist visa plus 30 days extension, then 1 border run of 60 days and 30 days extension and repeat the process with a second and last border run of 60 days plus 30 days extension, total 9 months of stay. Without waste too much money for a METV
  5. I just saw your reply sorry to repeat the same question. Ok cool, thanks for all the info!
  6. Ok great. But if I might decide to apply for a METV let's say the last week of June, the embassy wouldn't mind when they'll see that I booked a flight to Thailand early on march?
  7. I've left Thailand last December and I am planning to come back on july
  8. It means, I am thinking to book a flight now but it is scheduled for july
  9. I would need some more info thanks I am thinking to buy a ticket flight to thailand very early as the price is very cheap! How many border run i can be able to do if i might come to thailand on free 60 days exemption entry? And if i might decide to come with a METV, how many days in advance i should apply for it on the e-visa website? 2 weeks in advance should be good enough or 3 weeks in advance would be safer? The embassy wouldn't mind if i have booked a ticket to thailand very early?
  10. Can someone tell me if this should works for the embassy? About METV request I would upload a pdf file ticket flight from my country to Thailand, then a ticket flight from Thailand to Cambodia within 60 days and a ticket from Cambodia to Thailand after one week. Do I also have to upload one last ticket flight outside of Thailand again? Or that tickets should be enough for the embassy?
  11. thanks for all the information. I will think better if come back without visa and buy an onward ticket or if come back with a METV (which it sounds interesting!)
  12. Do I have to show 10000 THB cash at the immigration arrival or I could show it on my Thai bank application on my phone? And I will also show an onward ticket on my phone, to the check in staff at the airport prior the departure and to the immigration when I will arrive in Thailand This in case I might come without visa obviously. But the metv sounds really interesting and I am considering it more than come without visa . I could stay up to one year with a metv
  13. I think an onward ticket of 48 hours validity should be fine
  14. Explain better please. Thanks
  15. It's fine to buy an onward ticket with 48 hours validity? Or better to extend the validity more than 48 hours? As I might show it to the thai immigration at the arrival and not only to the airline at the check in prior to the departure from my country
  16. great, thanks for the info. However, there is something not clear on how many ticket flights i should buy as i will have to upload it on the e-visa application, for the embassy. They want to see one ticket from my country to thailand, one ticket exit thailand within 60 days, one ticket to thailand again and another one out of thailand within 6 months. It should be like that?
  17. Only one more border run i could do after that?
  18. So, if i get 6 months METV i can apply for 30 days extension at my local immigration every 60 days i will do a border run? And then i could do more border run when the METV will finish?
  19. 9 months or up to 1 year
  20. The airline company told me to ask the embassy haha
  21. Just want to know if you should buy an onward flight out of thailand within 60 days or it should be fine within 90 days as there is the possibility to extend 60 days for another 30 days at the local immigration. This is regarding come to thailand with a tourist visa 60 days or free 60 days exemption I would also need to understand how many flights you should buy in case you want to apply for a METV. One ticket from your country or residence to thailand and then another flight from thailand to another asian country? What else?
  22. Just read this old topic. I am happily single and happy to come to thailand and spend only for myself. I am not into all these thai stories that only make you pay and pay, so annoying. I pay only for myself and i am happy happy, no stress
  23. Hundred times better a DT visa. I would avoid marriage visa
  24. Always this female immigration. Nothing new. I always use immigration male and never had these kinds of problems
