Unrequited love fuels deadly shooting in central Thailand bar
RobU replied to snoop1130's topic in Central Thailand News
The love was requited and obviously he paid a considerable amount for it. She seems to have taken his money and conducted an affair with another man at the same time. I don't understand how the husband was involved. -

The original report is in the Thaiger, AN just copies and pastes. There is a link to the original article, which is just as confusing. This is typical of the Thaiger's very poor reporting standards -

Interesting that they consider young women sunbathing on the temple grounds almost akin to pornographic but displaying photos of young women sunbathing on the temple grounds is not. Pure hypocrisy. Did anyone ask the permission of the young ladies to use the photo in such a manner? -

Have you kept up with the change in regulations? The UK pension is no longer contribution based it is now a benefit available to all UK citizens regardless of how much NI has been paid. There is no minimum contribution any more. Everyone gets the same. It is topped up by the state -

If you go back and declare you will stay, your pension will be increased to the full state pension. It is no longer dependent on how many years you paid in. Everyone now gets the same. -
Must Read Thailand starts checking foreigners' passports on domestic flights

I agree. Think of the Thai bureaucracy as if they were a commercial company that needs to expand and innovate new products to justify its existence, running costs and staffing levels to the shareholders. So they create ever more complexity and push their penetration into new markets, in this case the airline industry. -
Thai government resists Israeli embassy’s call for hostage release in Gaza

At no point have I ever criticised the Jewish faith,.nor have I ever made any anti Semitic comment. Nor have I expressed any support for the disgusting Hamas terrorist organisation. I strongly believe that the current Israeli government is an extreme right wing blot on Israeli politics pursuing an expansionist agenda to drive the Palestinian people out of Gaza and any area populated by Palestinians by every means possible including sacrifice of it's own citizens to achieve that objective . Why were the Israeli female soldiers who acted as spotters unarmed and unable to protect themselves? The first military objective of any incursion would be the intelligence gatherers. -

I like and respect the Jewish people as a whole. Throughout the world they have contributed to a stable western civilisation. I despise the current government of Israel. Do not confuse dislike and criticism of Israeli politics and politicians with anti semitism. To do so is immoral and deliberate support of a government's extreme policies and murderous intent. -

I'm so sorry. My mistake that the most efficient intelligence and armed service in the world. Commited to the defence of Israeli citizens didn't take the threat seriously? You must be joking. Israeli and foreign citizens were sacrificed for 'the greater good', so that the IDF would have a clear mandate for imposing genocide on the Palestinian population. -

Not theories there is plenty of evidence to show that the Israeli government knew exactly what was coming and deliberately allowed it to happen. They were warned by the Egyptians and their own trained spotters https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-67958260 -
In a nutshell The Husband was interrogated by the police chief who's son actually committed the offence. The husband, despite not being present at the scene, 'confessed' with accurate details of how the offence was committed. Sounds to me like the son confessed to his father. The father then forced a false confession from the innocent husband. Remember that these confessions and witness statements are actually written by the police and the person making the statement is then told to sign it. If the husband is illiterate he wouldn't know what he was signing. The police chief simply wrote his son's confession and told the husband to sign it. At the very least he is guilty of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and should be imprisoned for the same length of time as the husband would have been.
