I am looking specifically for UK/USA films which have been overdubbed in Thai with subtitle files included on the DVD. All DVD's I bought in the UK had the option to display English subtitles. Some had the option to display alternative subtitles in different languages (usually European). I suspect that I may be able to download English subtitles from the internet. My wife does not read or write very well (sent to work in Bangkok when she was 11) and this would be the best way for us to both sit down at home and enjoy a movie together since she likes overdubbed US,/UK films. Also for Thai films/Lakhorns there is a website called WLEXT which has hundreds of Thai films and Lakhorns with English subtitles which can be downloaded

A friend of mine says that this is actually 'Greenlighting' by his opponents. I don't say that it isn't true but people with 'depression' are often highly manipulative and vindictive, basically very angry at everyone. We have only heard her side of the story. It may be that he was kind to her and when she responded and tried to initiate something he was obliged to reject her. I agree. Perhaps if some of the people jumping up and down waving their panties had all their medical records published in the Thai English press and a visit from the immigration police to check their health status, they might change their minds

Rules of patient confidentiality apply just as much to prisoners. I have said before no one has the right to know his medical details unless he allows it. I am pleased to hear that no one can visit unless he gives permission other than medical/nursing staff. This very nasty attempt by politicians to break the law and 'find out what is wrong' is foiled. For god's sake leave him alone the law says no one can know anything unless he gives permission and it has always been so.

The headline that he killed her because she refused to convert to Islam is pure speculation. There is no suicide note and no statement of intent. Merely she refused to marry him immediately because she was not yet ready to convert to Islam.

This isn't about islam it's about a deranged man who couldn't accept rejection and murdered the woman who rejected him. He then took the cowards way it and committed suicide. The purported reason for his behaviour is irrelevant ot her men do exactly the same.

Had a low lying fibre optic strung across our front garden to our neighbours house. Our neighbor reported it a number of times and they did nothing. A truck delivered some building material and caught it, pulling it down completely. Then I intervened and threatened legal action, at which point they finally came and fixed it. A lot of these people who put up the cables are self employed contractors. They supply the cable and link it to the network at the box on the pole which has many access points, then inform the network of the property it is linked to and which access point is used.
