  1. Yup, essentially the board of Boeing are a bunch of murderers who have got away with it
  2. How can they work here and own land if they are both British. Just asking for a friend
  3. Boeing, probably the most badly built aircraft in the world. Supported by a corrupt executive management that tries to deny all responsibility for any incident. Ie pilot error, passenger error, groundcrew error anything but Boeing incompetence. People die quite frequently due to Boeing's lack of quality control yet stupid airlines still buy their product. I can only assume that the management of Thai Airways have received some hefty bribes.
  4. Probably a small cyclone, which can be devastating but, as usual poor reporting by the Thaiger tells us very little
  5. Have you actually read my post? 🤣😂 I said he could not be discharged to the prison because the prison authorities did not have the facilities to look after him so he remained a prisoner at the hospital. Once he was granted parole he was allowed to leave the hospital anytime. He paid for medical facilities at his own home (in case you haven't noticed he is a billionaire and could afford to build his own hospital) and was transferred to his own home to continue treatment.
  6. I doubt he stepped out in front of the car. It's more likely he jumped to the side to avoid being hit and the drunk driver swerved at the same time. The driver will claim he swerved to avoid him as part of his defence
  7. RIP killed for doing his duty. I hope the drunken thug who killed him gets life in prison. But I doubt it. In my opinion cop killers should be executed automatically on conviction.
  8. Yep he got free medical care, just like any other prisoner
  9. Yes I do know what I am talking about. I happen to be a former registered nurse. We can go through the same procedure I have been through before on this forum where I publish a redacted copy of my qualifications. I then make a complaint about your attitude.
  10. They paid for EXISTING facilities at the hospital. The did not pay hundreds of thousands to have those same facilities unnecessarily duplicated at the prison. Thaksin has paid for those facilities from his own wealth to be duplicated at his home.
  11. Yep it's the usual comments trotted out by amateur medical 'experts' "He doesn't look ill to me, therefore he is not ill"
  12. You seem to think that the government is willing to pay for the same facilities at the prison that he will pay for at home. i.e. spend more money on Thaksin than on other prisoners and give him the special privileges of private nursing and medical care at the prison. Think logically your comment doesn't make sense. He was a prisoner at the hospital and could not be discharged back to prison because there are no facilities for his care at the prison. Now he has been paroled he can be discharged to private medical care at his own home
  13. It's possible that he had a major procedure on his heart. This kind of procedure involves inserting a catheter at the artery in the neck which is directed under x-ray control to the heart. Immobilisation of the neck and arm is to stop the arterial wound from tearing open.
  14. You forget that he is a wealthy man he can build a small hospital at his home and employ expert medical staff to give him the same, or better, care as at the police hospital. However the government will not go to the considerable expense of building such facilities at the prison. Therefore I agree he perhaps is to ill to go back to prison but not too ill to go home where he will receive further medical care.
  15. Exactly! why are you debating this? I was answering a comment by another member end of story.
  16. If you watch the cabin staff they close the door and pull a manual handle to secure it but not 'lock' it. The doors open outwards, the pressure in the cabin is higher than the pressure outside hence it would blow open if the handle was moved There is nothing to stop an idiot from moving the handle and opening the door.
  17. What I heard on the video was a very British female working class voice yelling "leave him alone, he's vulnerable!" Yeh, he was so vulnerable that he had just decked a male cabin attendant with a single punch I hope he gets locked up However in our wokey UK society, the mental illness card is usually played by these violent thugs. Someone may be mentally ill or 'vulnerable' it doesn't stop them from, being bad b******s who take advantage of the diagnosis to create mayhem and hurt other people They always know what they are doing and because they are allowed to get away with it they just get worse.
  18. Alcohol also has medicinal properties, it expands blood vessels especially Brandy. When I worked in vascular surgery we kept bottles of Brandy, Vodka and other spirits in the medicine trolley. They were dispensed in 30ml doses 3 to 4 times a day to patients with severe vascular problems. It was so tempting when i dispensed them to get a shot for myself especially on the night shift, fortunately I never did, the spectre of being struck off for drug abuse prevented me doing so.🙂
  19. Thanks for the information, very interesting
  20. I wasn't aware of this, I have just looked at my post paid account which now says it ends on 29 feb previously there was no end date
  21. It's said that many ex cons are frightened of the disordered world outside prison and commit crimes in order to be sent back
  22. Interesting that there is a curfew on alcohol sales but not on cannabis sales
  23. I wonder which person(s). Boeing bribed in the Thai government I'll lay bets no senior government member will ever fly on a Boeing
  24. Good doggy. The dog was probably defending itself. I doubt seriously that a lone dog would spontaneously attack a 5 metre python. Maybe the dog got eaten anyway
  25. I suppose the rationale is that there will be less commuter traffic and hence less pollution from exhausts
