I’ve really come to resent people like you. Do you think you can peg everyone as if you know them? How ignorant you are. You don’t know me.

Lol, the reason I asked is because I have some AirBlue miles & the BKK-AMS-MAN route isn't a bad way for me to visit the UK so I got all excited when I saw KLM 1st Class (not that their business class isn't enjoyable in normal times).
Was it full service (food & drinks) on the flight/in the lounge? I ask because I'm hearing bad things about Qatar (Who I've got 70,000 THB of flight voucers with from a cancelled flight in March last year) so looking at alternatives.
I really liked KLM, had never flown them before. I love those little houses they give you at the end of the flight. Each one (there are 85 or so) is fashioned after an actual home. In the US Delta is hands-down the best airline by far. Internationally, I’ve only flown Cathay Pacific, Iberia, Korean Air and United. I’ve found Cathay Pacific were far superior compared to all of the US Airlines I’ve flown (and I’ve flown all of them). FYI, I’m an American (please forgive me for that), but I know great when I see/feel it.

Does KLM have a First Class?
Have flown Business with them a fair few times from the UK/Singapore & once from Thailand but don't recall any time where there was a First Class.
You’re correct, it was Business Class. I booked the flight through Delta Airlines as a partner operated flight. And while KLM may be different from other International First Class cabins, it was not different from Delta’s First Class when we left the US to fly to Seoul then BKK almost two years ago - it was actually a better cabin and service was comparable.
Thanks for pointing it out. Otherwise, you’d never know that I flew week-in and week-out for over 25 years working as a management consultant.

The handwriting is on the wall, and if I were a betting man….
You are about to become just another statistic in a long line of poorly thought out, miserably executed then failed relationships. Ultimately you will then be put through the wringer at the hands of a self-proclaimed poor and disgruntled Thai woman.

It may not be for everyone, but to each his/her own. My wife and I opted for Spain. We arrived here 7 days ago and it has been - so far - enchanting. We flew KLM first class - I know, it's not the same as a magic carpet, but that's okay. We spent the previous 1.5 years in Thailand and while I really enjoyed our time there, it was never our plan to stay there long term We had planned to move to China around the time covid reared it's ugly head and for many reasons we decided to SHlT-CAN those plans (not the least of which had to do with covid). Again, I enjoyed our time in Thailand and we made some friends there. That said, I find the people here to be much more friendly and the language is way easier for me to not only get to know but to want to even try to speak. I can read Spanish and get by with the written language, which is something I couldn't do with Thai language - not even close. Who knows what will happen with covid/delta variant - it could make a mess of our plans here, but for now I feel like I've found my home. Also, I'm not a big fan of the heat and I was missing the change of seasons, which we will have here in the north of Spain.

Maybe, I can only refer to their published opening hours.
I’ve found the hours of operation posted on various maps and other online sources are often inaccurate. It’s only gotten worse during covid. Generally, the hours are shorter than what is published. In this case it was the opposite.

China invented an aerosol inhaled version of vaccines. So they can just spray on the atmosphere at a bigger scale around the the cities so everyone can inhale it without having to go to a hospital to get their vaccines. In that way, the government can achieve its target of vaccinating 70% of the population. Maybe even 100%
I wonder what other kind of mind-altering drugs CCP have included in their so-called aerosol?
Xi Jinping: today’s poster child of tyranny.

Nana sounds like Bangkok.
Have you tried VASU exchange Sukhumvit corner Soi 7/1?
(Nana BTS)
Have you tried Superrich?
Address and opening hours here:
https://www.superrichthailand.com/#!/en
Both have limited opening hours probably related to Covid measures (deep red zone), closed on Sunday.
Don't forget passport/copy.
When I used Super Rich head office about a week ago, they were offering to come to my hotel on Saturday and Sunday. So I think they are available on Sunday, unless that’s changed.
-
I exchanged USD for THB, then EUROS before leaving the country last week.
I used Super Rich head office in BKK, their rates were very good and they even came to my hotel to make the drop. Since I was exchanging to/from more than 50,000 baht they did not charge me a fee for coming to the hotel.
If under 50,000 THB, they charge 100 THB. It probably depends on how far you are from their main office, though.
They do have an 800k maximum per day exchange limit.

First they come out with an edict that states you will be punished for spreading lies and misinformation about covid. Then, they set about spreading lies and misinformation about how many have been vaccinated.
See how easy that was?

Sorry for my late reply. I don't log in here often. But I think the CDC news is on most mainstream media.
Thanks, I'm sure I can find it myself. I actually do follow mainstream news quite extensively, but thanks for implying otherwise. I'm looking for more details regarding the research that compare and contrast the similarities and variances between chicken pox and delta as far as transmission.

As a Spanish aficionado I highly recommend them and those are the wines that I bring with me in my luggage when I travel to Thailand, as well as some cheese and Iberic ham.
Thanks for the tip, I'll definitely give both a try. We at the Marriott in Madrid for three nights to decompress after our flight and they had Rioja in the club lounge, it was good, but I don't recall which version of Rioja it was. I pounded quite a few San Miguel's - nothing like free beer!! Today we drove from Madrid to Logrono via A2 to A111, through Soria and what an amazing drive that was over the mountains. In the afternoon we drove to Viana (it's about 11 kilometers from Logrono) to survey the area as I had contacted a guy there about renting his place until we decide where to buy. It's a quiet small town of about 4,000 people with old stone buildings and it sits on top of a hill with amazing views of the valley and mountains all around in the distance. It brought back memories for me of Colorado where I grew up and where the air is fresh and clean. What really struck me was how tidy everything was all the way from Madrid to Logrono and the ride was so smooth and relaxing with hardly any traffic - on a Sunday afternoon in August no less! I fully enjoyed my year-and-a-half in Thailand, but this is where I belong.

Oh, it’s much much bigger than just Thailand - I can assure you.

This is nothing more than a large scale “red bag” and “brown envelope” orgy between the Thai government, crooked businessmen and the CCP.

But, so far, you are peddling nationalistic and statist propaganda in this thread.
It's about pfizer order - nothing to do with sinovac, it's efficacy, about which political leaders are the best or which country is your favourite
Nope, I was responding to Isaan Sailor’s post. And if you’re intention is to scare me by tying my comments the article regarding the spread of misinformation, think again.
I no longer live in the LOS, nor do I ever plan to return. You can have it - enjoy!

BKB app saves a screenshot on every phone app transaction.
No need to even think.
I closed my BKB account a few days ago, because I moved to Spain, but I did not know it auto saved those transactions. It did pop up on the screen automatically, then I’d capture it. Found it to be very handy. I liked banking at BKB. I was also signed up for Bualuang banking, but never really used the online banking feature. When I closed my account I was able to go to the Bualuang desk at BKB Headquarters, which was nice and private. It reminded me of using Chase Private Client in the US - almost.

I got the moderna too but it doesn't matter much because we are all affected one way or another if the rest gets sick. The recent CDC revelation that Delta variant is as transmissible as chicken pox is very worrying.
Would you mind sharing the link? I just moved to Spain and am not yet at the point of making a final decision on any vax, but this info may force my hand.

And tell you how great it is - even how great China is…what a croc of propaganda.

I had a similar problem at the bank last week while wearing a mask over my nose. Every time I breathed out my glasses misted up.
What to do? Wear my mask properly and make mistakes, or lower it long enough to sign everything then pull it back up.
I have a similar problem getting out of my pick up with the a/c on.
This is my pet peeve re: masks. Try pulling your glasses a little farther down your nose, if you can. It creates some space between your face and the lenses.
That worked for me.
