What's the problem with non white immigration ? Incidentally ... The white population in London is 55% by the governments statisitcs. A further 15-20 percent are Europeans from Spain, France, european union countries (who are not classed as whites). If you go to cities further north, like Sunderland ... the white population is close to 98%. But what's the issue you have? For example, the Sikh population in the UK are brilliant people. They work hard, contribute, very low crime, provide free food at their temples. The polish population are another group that work so hard, brilliant people. What's the issue you have?

Go spend time in Seoul ... it's awash with immigrants from China, North Korea (yes North Koreans), and other surrounding states. The reason the UK has so many immigrants from the commonwealth, that many here despise as they are are not white, is you invaded those countries and looted them for many years, then you needed their man power to help you in two world wars (where many sacrificied themselves to protect your way of life), and then needed their labour to help rebuild the country. It's old fashioned prejudices here.

Meanwhile the red busses that blow out black diesel smoke are still driving around with impunity. Traffic around where i live is insane, and has seen no drop. If anything it feels worst. IMO the only ones benefiting from this are those who normally don't use the BTS / MRT are using it as opportunity to get out and about for free. Also the sheer volume of Chinese tourists here for New Years are have a field day getting around for free. It's a sheer waste of money, because fate had the wind blow the harsh pollution away. If pollution was an issue and health a priority to keep people away from the pollution, that has ironically driven people to travel around for free that normally would be staying home. The money should have been used to change all public vehicles electric, remove the red emitting diesel busses. The pollution is set to return in a few weeks anyways. So a temporary plaster measure was a sheer waste.

Nonsense. It's all performative theatrics. The sheer volume of mexican (and further afield south American countries) undocumented immigration into many US states is astronical. Most large business welcome these immigrants to carry out the work locals will not do. If you go to cities like Las Vegas the vast majority of the work carried out in the background (housekeeping, chefs, cleaners, etc) are all immigrants. You even have legit schemes like Mexicans being driven into US daily to do work, then driven back home at night - which is a legal scheme.

Good news. More working population. The dangers of a drop in population wrecks economies. Government however must provide the necessary provisions for transport, education and health to keep up. Only people with an issue will be racists.

True. But as soon as one project is finished. You hear the earthquake coming from another direction of the room, and you realise the same construction workers are now in another room on the floor below you. Essentially you have the same team going into the condo still fitting out the rooms. So it's been an earthquake after earthquake, never ending.

I think my next port of call will be with my agent. We've used the same agent for many years and she has really let us down this time. It's an amazing condo however, but she should have known that the condo itself was itself an empty shell in many rooms.

In that regards yes construction is only going on between 9-5pm. However, it's like a massive earthquake every day. Not exagarating this.

And lose my deposit ? Will the owner return my desposit? We are talking nearly 160k for 2 months rent. Somehow i don't think they will. Still got 8 months to go on contract. I was hoping for some suggestions for an inbetween solution, or anyone who went through something like this and how it was resolved. This is essentially mass construction inside the shiny glossy condo.

So it's a case of just putting up with it ? At this moment in time, i am hearing drilling that is hitting my ear with such force that it's as if the guy is if the construction is happening rite next to me. I Simply cannot sleep, as i am work some bizarre hours at times. We simply cannot relax when my partner is back from work. Do i go to my agent? I honestly feel scammed as she told me the condo was all ready and perfect. The concierge team are all very appologetic, but nothing is done. We have essentially moved into an upscale, brand new condo by a prestigious builder, at an extorniate rate, but room were not ready for most of the condo, as a result you have mass construction going on. Tell you how bad it, i am sitting here at 10am actually thinking of booking a hotel to get the hell out of here.

If you come to the UK and you claim asylum, you are accomodated if they feel your case meets merit (ie not taking the pee). This also happens in many European countries, Canada too that sign up the human rights bull. This is not luxury accomodation despite what the media say. They are small little rooms, sometimes in crappy hotels. The UK has universal free healthcare (along with most of Europe), so asylum seekers will get health care. The only people ironically who don't get free healthcare are immigrants who come here legally - they have to pay a surcharge one of fee before they get a visa, to allow them to use the NHS. Also immigration, undocumented was on course to go higher than Obama before the pandemic hit. He literally did nothing to stop it. The wall was never built, other than tiny little areas. It's all performative. America needs and wants immigration.

Where have all these cheap drunk violent Brits turned up from ? They usually go to Magaluf or Benidorm. I honestly blame social media and fake influencers for attracting them.

Cheap mass tourism is really ugly. The state of tourists here are turning away high quality tourists. Utterly disgusting.

What's the issue though with keeping those red busses going? I am aware they are public busses - but is it going to be that expensive or destructive to tell them to clear off? Or is it something else? You would literally only need someone to stand on Sukhumvit or Silom and see them going past. You could stop them straight away and clear them off.
