I found an interesting concept in the Bible that I think applies to this scenario. Over and over again the Bible discusses the negative punishment received by those people who worship false idols and their theories above God almighty. So if the theories of medical science are indeed a false idol the Bible warns us about, the result by default requires punishment. I think the possibility exists that the powers that be are hoping to push us in the right direction towards revererence for God. One Bible verse even says the diseases of the pharaohs will not affect those who revere God. Exodus 15: 26. This implies the non physical mental aspect to health flows to the physical body and is critical to a fully functioning immune system which results in full health and vitality.

I am about 80% cashless now. Year by year my vendors require cashless. Even though my condo has an office with staff they will not accept cash for fees and utilities anymore. The quality of workers I see at diiferent road projects appears very low. Farm animals eyes radiate a more keen intellect than the cement road laborers that I have been walking by for years. Rarely do I ever see a manager overseeing the work. Likely they are using the shortcut method at every turn as the caved in sidewalks and roads indicate. Another big problem is avoiding being splashed by cars driving through water puddles next to sidewalks. Every rain season the puddles on the road next to the pedestrian sidewalk by my condo linger for weeks as the workers sloped the concrete away from the drains. Pickup trucks belching black smoke love to try to splash walkers by driving through the water puddles.

I would recommend avoiding street food. After about 5 food poisoning episodes from street food vendors, I quit eating it. I used to watch the vendors load up unsold foods and raw meats into the back of their pickups at 1 am and likely let it sit unrefrigerated until the next day and try to sell it again. I would also be more concerned about rats and birds eating off the dirty plates and pooping in the soapy water after gorging. Many times my food tasted of dish soap as the vendor didn't bother to rinse plates adequately between customers.
