What is the cleanest and nearest beach located near Bangkok?
cjinchiangrai replied to Goodboybkk's topic in Bangkok
The farther you go, the cleaner the waster gets. For convenience, Bang Saen and Jomtien. Koh Larn is nice but you need to get the ferry. Hua Hin and Koh Chang are the nearest beach resort areas but much farther. For surf and reefs you need to go to Phuket though. -
TR Application question

I would scan the entry stamps from the last 12 months. You may need to get them from your old passport. -
It was a perfectly understandable question. You do not need to be so rude about it, just move on.

Thailand’s gun control remains problematic
cjinchiangrai replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
How about arrested, fined 50,000 baht and gun taken? Who is importing and manufacturing the guns in the first place? The manufacturers have ways to influence governments to allow more sales. It is not the best plan for wives and children. -
Royal Thai Navy rescues foreigners after yacht breaks down in Krabi
cjinchiangrai replied to webfact's topic in Krabi News
What does "broken" mean? It looks like the ship is a little bow down, is there a leak in the hull? Getting that close without grounding is a surprise but getting that close without taking measures is just poor seamanship. Set an anchor or set sails but the ship should never be left to the sea. -

I am wondering how long this will continue. As the computer systems get better, it will get harder. One memo enforcing the residence paper rule for visa applications and it all ends. Maybe it is time for everyone to start getting real visas? -
Correct, and don't go looking for the antivenom yourself, the hospital will bring it to you if they don't have it. You may need a ventilator fairly quickly so head to the nearest 24 hour hospital. I asked at our local hospital and they said all of the hospitals in the province had the antivenom. The medical staff have seen plenty of snake bites, let them do their thing.

We had a nice time at the Kantoke side trip. Dinner theatre show with dancing etc, and a diverse northern style dinner. Your hotel will know. Very touristy but fun. There are plenty of nice restaurants but I tend to be disappointed with most of the falang food. Get that in BKK.

The month in Cambodia will be plenty of time to get another visa. No worries. -

Nope, I just walked in, took the reaction and color tests and waited 20 minutes for them to make the card. Our local is in the middle of a rice field in Chiang Rai though.

Thai Watsadu is the builders store. Homepro and Global are more for the weekend wannabes, It all depends on what you are looking for.

The whole village will be there to ensure that there are no incriminating intoxicants left behind. The temple will be happy the handle the barbeque part, I just hope they do not charge by the kilo. Repatriating a body just to waste real estate is really dumb. I would be more interested in paperwork to be an organ donor.

Are you talking about an open Molar or an impacted wisdom tooth? The former is easy and takes 5 minutes after sedation. The latter is complicated dental surgery and takes an hour under full anesthesia. You need to talk to an oral surgeon to get a realistic price.

All gasoline has additives. That is what makes the brand. Color, detergent, even fragrances.

What smaller planes? They don't exist, nor do the crews. How do you refund the return flight? Not on any ticket I ever had. Use it or lose it.
