  1. No thread on cannabis is complete without someone, with socks or not, waxing poetic about "thai sticks" from 50 years ago? With, at best, a THC content ~ 10%. That, and the pearl-clutchers moaning on about increase road accidents/deaths.
  2. "Exposing" corruption? You can't swing a dead cat - and yes, the dead cat was also corrupt - without hitting five overt forms of corruption here in any given hour.
  3. Thanks. Fans of The Wire should be pleased? I think I'll wait until all six eps are released, then more or less binge it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naLSzOVBCLc
  4. Regarding the final season of Better Call Saul, note that the thirteen episodes have been broken into to two groups, a bit like Breaking Bads' finals season. Episode 1: April 18, 2022 Episode 2: April 18 Episode 3: April 25 Episode 4: May 2 Episode 5: May 9 Episode 6: May 16 Episode 7: May 23 Episode 8: July 11 Episode 9: July 18 Episode 10: July 25 Episode 11: August 1 Episode 12: August 8 Episode 13 (series finale): August 15
  5. Note that the commission paid is 45% (seen 40% published as well as well as 55%, so not a lot of transparency on this perk) of the auction proceeds to the policeman. Presumably this gets shared laterally, and vertically upwards. This is how joe ferrari accumulated his massive wealth. So you can understand how the police are motivated. 4.5 BILLION Baht is definitely not chump change.
  6. Mobile app. updated as well. Updated April 20, 2022 Current Version 3.16.1 WHAT'S NEW New features • Request statement for both Thai baht and FCD savings accounts • Change registered mobile number • Redo transactions from transaction history
  7. So you are suggesting that the MoPH initiate a smoking-cessation program which involves vaping? That might work here with strict controls: Doctor/hospital administration, a 'license' for the user, can only vape in certain spaces. Sounds like a committee should be formed to study your "idea".
  8. Yes, of course. Anything can be "smoked". I was referring to the GPO oils, which are taken orally, under the tongue. Could you smoke them? Sure, I guess. (I think these GPO sublingual oils are vegetable or olive oil based.) Yes, we all know there are dozens of cannabinoid extracts (hash, wax, crumble, butter, shatter, dabs, oil,,,,), for both THC and CBD. And many can be smoked, with the right rig.
  9. Mitigating? Sure. Just share these with the public. Blaming the victim, deceased no less, is always a winning go to strategy. Any "litigating" circumstances might favor the Doctor's family in their civil suit?
  10. Seen some reports that he has chosen not to appeal, makes sense as I think the assumption is that he plead guilty to the reduced charge(s). But still unclear why he wasn't remanded immediately? I assume "the worst". And that he'll serve his sentence under house arrest, with an ankle monitor. Then it's back to the rtp.
  11. YES! But this data can be backed-up (copied from the phone to a storage device) and then copied back. How many games? Which ones? copy and paste: back up android game data before a factory reset into a search engine.
  12. Asked again... What are these other version numbers?
  13. Schwab. $1,000 per day. This thread also discusses teller advances, up to $15,000 per day, fee-free with the Visa exchange rate.
  14. So is this a Cash Advance, in that it starts accruing interest until re-paid? And that you pay it off almost immediately? Or is it simply a withdrawal of funds in the associated Schwab Bank High Yield Investor Checking account, and they classify this as a Cash Advance? This is still a bit surprising. But this must be in the Bangkok Bank CSR script re: authorizations. I can see increased interest in these sorts of topics as we tip over 34.
  15. My best/only guess would be midnight EST/EDT? So 11:00 AM here. But I guess it could easily be Pacific time? Some banks clear ATM activity at 9:00 PM EST. Maybe inquire? And that it is based on transaction authorization date/time (and not clearing or settlement). And maybe the rate stays consistent for 24 hours? This guess is based on the Visa US calculator, which only allows you to enter a date. It was EXACTLY 1%? What/who is the card issuer, for the Visa card and the MC card? My guess is that they, and not Visa, added this fee, which is likely documented in the terms and conditions of your card. And getting EXACTLY 1% seems nigh on impossible,. If you said 0.95%, or 1.02% that might make more sense.
  16. Every once in a while there are curious applications of the law which don't appear to follow standard practice. I assumed - perhaps this is my error - that the Doctor's family has higher status than the policeman. And that this would insure being charged with additional crimes, getting a longer sentence and being bounced from the rtp. But either he comes from a higher lineage, or he gets a status bump for being with the brown gang? Did he plead guilty? Did he do the "re-enactment"? Did he lose his driving license? IMO, the State needs to inform the public on the details of the legal process. Challenging to expect everyone to obey the law when there seems to be different laws for different people.
  17. AFAIK, No, you cannot, smoke weed, that is. Again, AFAIK only GPO distributed oils are legal. These are sublingual and are not smoked. from the article... “We have a THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) oil and a CBD (cannabidiol) oil that we partner up with the Government Pharmaceutical Organization of Thailand. So it’s legal, but most importantly, it’s clean.” The clinic’s doctors examine patients and usually give them a very tiny eyedropper bottle containing liquid CBD-dominant, with 0.2% THC, oil. “All of that, we charge 1,000 baht [US$30]. We buy [the bottled oil] from the government – 450 baht [$14],” said Julpas. “Each customer that comes in, per ticket that we’re getting, is around $125 before they walk out,” with a slew of other made-in-Thailand lotions and potions on sale in glass display cabinets. No doubt soon to be part of the "Sorry the Grand Palace is closed today" gem shop/suit tailor tuk-tuk "experience"? but this "nugget" is interesting “And we’re bringing Audacious products in. The profit margin on the gummies is around 60%. Logistically it’s the easiest thing to bring into Thailand. It’s light. There’s no refrigerator.” Not sure what's up with these gummies - best not smoked? Others are peddling terpene gummies here.
  18. Trendy Building Sukhumvit Soi 13. Their press release... AUDACIOUS Opens Medical Cannabis Clinic in Southeast Asia, Expanding Global Footprint into Thai Medical Cannabis Market LAS VEGAS, March 21, 2022 /PRNewswire/ - Just as the dynamic Thai medical cannabis market begins to blossom, AUDACIOUS and Thai-based partner Golden Triangle Health have partnered to open the first Herbidus Medical Center in Bangkok, which is also the first medical cannabis clinic in Southeast Asia supported by a U.S. Multi-State Operator (MSO). Herbidus is among the first clinics in Asia that can prescribe cannabis for medical treatments in compliance with the law. It uses medicine approved by the Government Pharmaceutical Organization and is staffed by doctors that follow global standards for use of cannabis in patient treatment. https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/audacious-opens-medical-cannabis-clinic-in-southeast-asia-expanding-global-footprint-into-thai-medical-cannabis-market-301506449.html from the article...quite the tangled web. An Audacious move Australis Capital Inc (CSE: AUSA) (OTC: AUSAF) – doing business as Audacious – partnered with Thailand-based NR Instant Produce, which manufacturers and distributes food, plus its subsidiary Golden Triangle Health, co-founded by Julpas. “Sleep disorder seems to be the number one issue that people are coming to our clinic,” said Julpas. Good play on "Sleep disorder". AFAIK, cannabinoids are NOT prescribed for sleep disorders here. Golden Triangle Group: https://www.gtg.co.th/
  19. I was addressing the OPs question(s). What is the model number of your unit? You may be able to find a parts list, repair manual for both your version, and a 220V version. I wouldn't assume that it will be as simple as a single FRU swap-out? Crazy that they don't use switching power supplies? Oh my, too "noisy".
  20. Of course no mention that the "officer" took a legally impounded, and presumably unregistered and uninsured vehicle out for a joy-ride? How many times had he done this before? Was he "working" at the time? How many other officers took this bike out for a ride? Why were they allowed to take these vehicles out. Easy to imagine the super-cars get taken out often, before being added to Joe Ferrari's successor's collection. The Dr's family are suing the RTP for 72 million baht. Hopefully someone tells the officer that "crowd control" definitely does not involve killing pedestrians.
  21. He resigned as Deputy PM in the current regime in July 2020 citing "health issues". All better now.
  22. Hold up three fingers, off to jail, held without bail or trial for a year or more. Ducati DeathRace 2022, light sentence, out on bail (50,000 baht). Why out on bail? Shades of Orachorn “Praewa” Thephasadin Na Ayudhya (her death toll was nine!!!), who got 138 hours of community service, which she is reported to have skipped. Dr. Waraluck Supawatjariyakul's family must be even more distraught at this travesty of justice.
  23. I really only care about rain, so rainviewer live map works for me. Google pushes a daily forecast on my phone. This topic comes up often here, haven't ever really seen any consensus.
  24. Which version? 8/128 12/256 12/512 Looks like TreeMobile has these, 12/256 coming soon Lower right corner Flashed Global
