  1. Who's offended? No one I know. Should I be? Time for a poll? Simple, up or down.
  2. Meh. "Change"? Maybe in another fifty years. This behavior is rooted in the thai social contract. There will be no acknowledgement of the issue(s), there will be no discussions, except the usual defenses by the deniers and enablers.
  3. How many other people were required to take an ATK test during your visit? I assume the test is free of charge? Does anyone know what satisfies the ATK test requirement/proof? For entry at CW or elsewhere? Can you self-administer a test, and what, take a photo of the plastic housing? This is the first mention I've seen of testing at CW in a few months. Yes, we know about forms and screening, and even what looked like "random" selection for testing, previously. For this topic another reminder or seventeen doesn't hurt, IMO.
  4. Hopefully she got to use the secret back-door out of Lumpini Police station as did Prinn, early on anyway. One or two complainants can be brushed off by the deniers/enablers with spurious counter-claims: "She asked for it", "Why did she go to his house if she didn't want to be raped?", "Why did she wait so long to come forward", "She's got an axe to grind", "She's in it for the money".... But fifteen, meh, indicative of a problem, especially when past performance, and alleged pay-offs (NDA/silence) are considered. Just a few more and it's off to the Cleveland Browns for Prinn.
  5. Yes, these (3-/60/90/1 year) promotions are EXTREMELY cost-effective, but the speed is limited/volume unlimited or speed unlimited/volume limited. Without any detail it's challenging to know if 10 Mbps will meet the OPs requirements. I think there is a DTAC version which offers 20 Mbps? There are also fixed volume (say 30 GB) and unlimited (well, 300 Mbps) speed options available too. Gazillions of resellers and options. Many have been discussed here. The first, most recent reseller I saw on FB just now https://www.wpnmobile.com/?fbclid=IwAR3AusnkYR0SG0pI08U9rcvPKL-UmX1R6rUxdvwzogacIT1Vu2K7DdAC2Wc Some decent deals True, 1 year, 60 GB per month at full speed (might be metered at 300 Mbps?) for 1,280, so ~ 110 baht/month. DTAC 1 year, 100 GB per month, mas speed, 1,750, ~ 150 baht/month.
  6. They ended a 25-year distribution contract with a DKSH (consumer goods div.) recently, pretty sure this is how why have your "recollection", and are going on their own. thailand is a huge market, and Levi's is probably one of the top five fashion brands, re: awareness (with demographics decidedly foreign to the AseanNow crowd). 100 outlets in thailand sounds aspirational, maybe in five years. I'm not sure Pepsi ever recovered from their break with Sermsuk (~2006), but those circumstances and that segment are different.
  7. Obviously you want to narrow your options by first researching online, right? Most/all shops with a physical presence also have one/more online. I'd look on Facebook. I mean you can call or DM the shop right? Ask them if they're open? Cool. You're one of the few. This shop is open, ok not right now but it will be at 11:00. There are a limited number of options, maybe 5 or 6 retailers, but with multiple store-fronts. Not all will have every item present in every shop. A quick search, 30 seconds, points to two BIG resellers: Itrinity Fortune Town https://www.facebook.com/ITrinitydell/ Next Play: Seacon Sq. Fashion Island https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=nextplay shop After that check the websites/FB pages for the usual suspects to see which ones sell Dell: BananaIT, JIB, Advice, InvadeIT https://www.invadeit.co.th/brand/dell/ Advice is the largest importer/reseller here, they have affiliated retail shops https://www.advice.co.th/search?keyword=dell
  8. While it's great that you can share what it is that you "don't" want to do, perhaps you can tell us what it is that you "do" want to do? What is your budget? Without this detail it's nearly impossible to make any recommendations? What type of content? 4K Netflix? A 240p TikTok? How many hours per day? This is important, you have choices of unlimited volume/fixed bandwidth (10 Mbps might work for you, but who knows?) or fixed volume/unlimited bandwidth. What is your current post-paid package? Volume of data? Unlimited speed? I'm not sure this is a reasonable concern? So where are you seeing these sorts of plans? Can you provide links? You want prepaid or postpaid for any second SIM? I'd try the hotspot method for a few months. This assumes you have a decent post-paid package, but again, who really knows besides you?
  9. Wait till the PM hears she said "Country is good. People is good. Our food is good, but government is bood". So is her name pronounced Minni? Opinion: Prayut tried to steal credit for Millis’ Coachella performance, and it’s despicable The reason he avoided mentioning her on Monday was because it was only a day after the 19-year-old rapper’s performance. Prayut knows that praising someone who he was suing for defamation which led to #Saveมิลลิ would come with a backlash no matter how he puts it. https://www.thaienquirer.com/39482/prayut-tried-to-steal-credit-for-millis-coachella-performance-and-its-despicable/
  10. Yes, I see the plastic resealable lid is an option on the Tao Bin machine. Interesting that they offer a no-lid option. Probably strands left on the plastic lids from the process used to cut those.
  11. What will you use the tablet for? This is probably the most important detail to share. What is your budget? This is probably the second most important detail to share. Do you currently have a prepaid or post-paid account with a local provider?
  12. They are responsive via Twitter DM in my experience. https://twitter.com/qatarsupport
  13. Yes, quite a few other PMs have fled. This is a feature not a bug. Most were allowed to return. Only one died in exile, and only allowed to return in an urn. I think that's the current plan for the previous two PM overthrown in coups.
  14. Oy vey. True that. At this rate Prinn will get traded to the Cleveland Browns.
  15. Charge extra? Use pre-flavored strand options? Probably from the heat-sealing plastic-film process? The tops come off a square strip, probably edge strands left over from the previous drink prep? This process is used in gazillions of applications here. And don't get us started on the tapioca balls.
  16. The thai "judicial" system is corrupt at it's very foundation. It was built that way for a reason. The timing of these indictments is also curious, or maybe not. But even the ardent dinosaurs recognize the silliness and pettiness of these cases. And they only raise the Shinawatra name and profile. I guess these serve two purposes: Discourage other people from becoming involved in populist politics. Build up a backlog of cases which cannot be expunged by a future non-Army government.
  17. Meh. These local (thailand) boiler rooms run 7x24 as they are calling globally. Higher end boiler rooms can spoof a Caller ID.
  18. Not available here, yet. Saw some announcements by a reseller within the last 2 years, but expect the licensing process will be glacial without extreme lubrication. Market potential is miniscule here, maybe three people including the OP? No. You are watching Netflix Thailand. Where your account is based is irrelevant. You could watch U.K. Netflix from thailand by using a VPN, assuming Netflix hasn't whitelisted your VPN provider.
  19. Who knows what the "wife" read? Maybe an old article about the STV?
  20. "Coffee is for closers." I NEVER answer calls from numbers I don't recognize via the contact name. I let them go to voicemail, where they hear my greeting and realize they dialed the wrong number. And thais seem freakishly frightened of voicemail. If someone keeps calling I block them.
  21. I'm in a similar situation, holding two Receipts. ~ 5 days apart. Filed online, rejected, mailed in, then determined the reason (old site message), filed online accepted. Received paper receipt ~ 2 weeks later. I plan to file online ahead of the earlier date, see what happens. Hopefully no ramifications.
  22. From Thaksin’s crooner to Prayut’s promoter – the pinball political career of Seksakol Atthawong Once a red-shirt leader dubbed “Isan Rambo”, Seksakol Atthawong has made yet another political pivot, leaving the ruling Palang Pracharath to join a new party aiming to secure Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha’s return to power after the next general election. Currently a vice-minister to the Prime Minister’s Office, Seksakol disclosed on Monday (Jan 7) that his new party —Ruamthai Sarngchart — would support Gen Prayut in his bid for another term regardless of whether Palang Pracharath or another party nominates him as its PM candidate. Seksakol said the party’s name, which means Uniting Thais to Build the Nation, was inspired by a phrase used often by Prayut. https://www.thaipbsworld.com/from-thaksins-crooner-to-prayuts-promoter-the-pinball-political-career-of-seksakol-atthawong/
