I am not certain about the changes of the law in Poland, but I love the defying of the EU idiots in Brussels.
They are unelected, undemocratic and should not interfere in any country.

How about we take out the cost of liberating your country from the Nazis
You mean liberating your country from the German tiranny TWICE?
Face it France, you are getting more out of the EU as you bring in, money wise.
And just stop bitching Britain, and start understanding your own people are not very much pro EU.
And I guess Britain will not bow for the unelected, undemocratic bas***ds in Brussels.

Biggest mistake you will ever make in Thailand.
My advice would be ONLY to come here to sit and drink all day, preferably with a 20yo on your lap.
Chok dee!
As I am 70, happily married to a middle aged darling, I would feel rather useless drinking all day and feeling awfully silly doing that with a 20-year old girl on my lap.

Ah; a 'subcommittee' to over look the 'committee' that was set up previously to overlook the 'probe' into Police 'abuse of authority' by Senior Officers.
This country has no shame, none whatsoever, morally bankrupt in every respect and no doubt the Big Pumpkin will tell ''The People'' that they are ''collectively responsible'' for these matters !
In fact, a certain amount of blame can be laid on "the people" in general for accepting, for years, corruption.
What's more, even kind of admiring it.

If he had an ounce of decency, he would simply accept the verdict and the sentencing, as something positive and use it as a foundation upon which to improve matters. The very fact the trial is happening is good news, in that it shows that trafficking is no longer acceptable. Instead he harps on about reputation and image, which are in such a sorry state, there is little point defending them. he really doesn't have a strong grasp on reality.
I am afraid for you, his grasp of reality is much better and more informed as your grasp can ever be.
He realises very much this business is not good for the image of the army.
That is why he is trying to minimise the fallout for the army and the country
Any good politician should do that.

What would be even better news would be that the people who provided the boys here got to visit the inside of a Thai prison.
Yes, the suppliers and procurers of this filth seem to be nearly untouchable.
But, face it, the justice departments can now claim they made the world a better place.

Thailand.....Quality......its an oxymoron.
Not only that, but they seem to forget that the average expat brings 50,000 baht into the country, per month.
Plus of course the investment in housing and transport.
And, of course, the financial wishes of Thailand for 10 year visas are exorbitant and unrealistic.
And as most, if not all, Thai insurance companies will stop, one way or another, health insurance after 69, affluent 70 year old pensioners will disappear.
Sometimes I cannot escape the idea the Thai government is really able to shoot in both feet with one bullet.
I am afraid for Thailand, the neighbouring countries in Asia will be grateful.

"Political correctness" at Thai Rath to pixellate his face.
Just that the internet is full with clear pictures of him and German news sources will tell you what village he comes from.
Not a full year in Thailand and totally ruined his life.
Call it political correctness as much as you like, TR did right to cover his face.
As long as the court did not find him guilty, he is innocent!
And a confession?
Does not say much, the police must deliver proof.
Did they?

I'm surprised they didn't arrest themselves for counterfeiting money.
====================
Pimping underage kids on Farcebook! Only reason they do such stupid things is because the cops are, at best lazy, and mostly inept.
The perp looks more like 36 than 16 too.
I think the only reason the girl(s) do it is for the money.

Turboprops are cheaper to run, generally, and if the jets are too big a smaller turboprop is quite acceptable.
Good idea, Nok!
And maybe a daily flight KKC to UTP and back, please?

But this is Thailand. Just a simple case of cowboys and bandits. If Farangs are stupid enough to invest where the country is run by the bandits and the rip offs by cowboys, then more fools them. Until this country is wiped clean, starting from the highest echelons down through all departments, then don't complain about your own stupidity In thinking Thailand is civilise and honest. Never will be without a civil war.
Surely you don't think civil war is or will bring any solution?

An idiot and a coward. He went from Mormon to Moron rapidly this kid.
Coward or not, the amount of attention he gets from, obviously, Thai people about his pranks makes me wonder if the same amount of negative reactions would be heaped on a Thai "mate".
After 40 years spent in the Railways I can only wonder what the quality of steel rails and steel wheels may be if they can be damaged by a coin.
Does not take away the danger by playing on railway tracks, promoting it on social media is very stupid.

Why not be like most other countries in S/E Asia...like you arrive without notice at KL, go to the immigration line, wait just a while, put your passport in the slot, your thumb on the mark, smile a bit, not to much and look at the camera "click" and the officer stamps your passport with a 3 months tourist visa, no charge and have a good holiday. Perhaps that's to easy???
Yes, that would be way too easy.

Well, the idea the western tourists and maybe expats spend more and stay longer and are better in the long run as the Chinese hordes and the Russians, is back.
Maybe not too late.......

Buying in Thailand really boils down to taking huge risks.
If I would feel boredom creeping in on me in a condo, would sell it and rent somewhere else.

Jokes are about context. What's the point of a joke? Is it mocking the subject or is it merely meant to shock.
This guy clearly thinks he's a good looking guy. He thinks the guys in the pic are also good looking. I'm sure his attitude is that only ugly can men rape. Good looking guys can have sex with any woman they want. "What? She said I raped her?" Look at me. I'm good looking" This attitude can influence in society, so when the police get involved, they're asking "You sure he raped you? He's so handsome".
Again, this stems from so many people not understanding what rape is and thinking that all girls are up for it, especially with handsome men.
Rape is a very bad thing indeed.
Punishment should be severe, if the accused is found guilty based on hard evidence instead of only declarations made by the alleged victim of the alleged rape.
However, many cases are known of false accusations mostly resulting in lengthy prison terms.
Even if the accused is not found guilty, his life is destroyed.
The accuser, mostly, walks away from the mess created by a false statement.
