Your aggressive dismissal of a sexual assault victim's experience speaks to your own bias. The evidence presented in court and not disproven, does not support your claim that this is anything close to consensual snogging. The unfortunate reality is that 30 years ago, men could get away with accosting women. In the past few days we have seen another wealthy man exposed for his sexual misdeeds, Mohamed Al Fayed. You do not believe the victim. I can assure you that a majority of people under the age of 35 do. I can also assure you that women who had careers also understand the plaintiff.

With some people, it is not about debate. It is is about hectoring, of fomenting disunity, of circulating misinformation, and of carrying out the dictates of a foreign master.

Every time Trump shows a bit of civility, he usually reverts to being rude and abusive. Let's hope he can stay the course this time. Perhaps he realizes that he won't make it and is looking at the big picture; Continued fund raising for the next 4 years to ensure he maintains influence and a need for a pardon.

You dismissed the poll as silly based upon your own assumptions. Please refer to the information at the bottom of the graphic; Based on ........polls of 2,437 VOTERS NATIONWIDE and 1,082 VOTERS in Pennsylvania............ I trust that you will agree that a voter must be at least 18 years of age. As such, dismissing the participants as not old enough to vote is not a reasonable position.

None of what you wrote is fraud. Advocating responsible firearms access is not fraud. Changing a political position is not fraud. It shows that a person listens to rational arguments and changes accordingly. Responsible allocation of government funds is not fraud. Supporting female reproductive rights is not fraud. Repeating racist slurs is disgusting. You have not supported a claim of fraud.

An endorsement for either Harris or Trump is more of a curse than a blessing. It is not the feel good union of nurses or teachers. Rather it is the union of the rail workers, logistics workers, and a range of other workers who have significant impact on people, when they go out on strike, e.g. the recent rail workers strike crisis. And it is the union of UPS, the company where drivers mishandle packages antagonizing customers. A Teamsters endorsement might motivate some workers, but it won't do anything for the general public, since teamsters are still seen as the mob's union, even if they cleaned up their activities.

You have called VP Harris a fraud. OK. What fraudulent acts has she committed and why has she not been prosecuted or sued for these fraudulent acts. There are enough activist Republican Governors (e.g. Desantis, Abbot) who can bring charges if there are actionable offences. You are quick to make claims, now identify the fraudulent acts. To help you out, here are some guidelines: Your personal bias does not substantiate a crime of fraud. On the other hand, 34 convictions on felony against Trump do support calling Trump a fraud. Trump's multiple bankruptcies do not mean he is a fraud, just either an incompetent business person and/or dishonest. Trump's multiple legal cases related to his failure to pay contractors may suggest fraud, but they are not. Perhaps, mean, greedy and dishonest.

Please consider volunteering at a seniors living facility or at a mental health facility. The residents benefit from having someone who will sit and listen. One need not have special training, or even intelligence. All that one need be is a good listener as you seem to indicate that you are. Kindness and compassion are admirable qualities.

Pattaya is of interest because it hosts some of the oddest crimes in Thailand. Lady boy thieves hiding under a bed is classic Pattaya crime. Blessed with an active news media, Pattaya crimes are quickly broadcast and make for light entertainment. That's why people are fixated. What I don't like about Pattaya is the lack of access from across the sea. Pattaya offers a nice day or two of shopping. It has selections as broad as in Bangkok, but targeted for the foreign market. Unfortunately, it is a hassle to get to Pattaya ever since the stopped the ferry between Hua Hin and Pattaya. It used to be 3 hours on a good day and you were dropped off in close proximity to the hotel district. Now one has to either fly by charter or drive the semi circle. Taking the bus is an excruciating 5 hours+, And no fast train options.

Until Trump undergoes a thorough medical review by unbiased competent professionals that show he has dementia, he is entitled to not be labeled as such. Appreciably he is quick to call other people crazy or suffering from dementia, but that just attests to his vulgarity and lack of class, not his dementia.

Unfortunately for you, Lawrence Welk died sometime ago and the Branson Mo. type of entertainment just isn't attracting the kinds of crowds that can keep the entertainment venues open. As more of them close, it contributes to Republican Branson's unemployment rate of 9.1%.· Republican Branson has seen the job market decrease by -10.7% over the last year. They have not switched and remain Republicans. The Republican party has been taken over by Russian enablers and is not the party of responsible government . -

That's nice, but it is not a response to the facts provided. You describe Democrats as anti semitic and then ignore the gems of hate from the Republicans. And BTW, you are wrong about Trump doing "more for the jews" than any other President. That president would be James Madison, the US 4th President (1809-1817). He wrote the Federalist papers (with Alexander Hamilton and John Jay) which led to the adoption of the US Constitution. It is why he is called the “Father of the U.S. Constitution.” American Jews have benefited from the protections of the US constitution just as US Christians, Muslims, Sikhs, Hindus, Agnostics and others have. Jews in the USA have not received special rights or services compared to any other US citizen. It seems you are not used to being a "friend" of the jews since you are relying on an anti semitic claim that jews get special favours. 🤣 -

How very wrong you are. Taylor Swift has been a popular star since 2006. Her popularity and influence has grown every year since then. 18 years as a superstar improving and expanding with each successive year. All done without financially harming anyone, declaring bankruptcy , or trash talking. One cannot be anti American and a Democrat at the same time, since the Democrat Party platform is pro USA. How convenient of you to worry about anti semitism. Some Democrats have non supportive views of Israel. Some representatives are nasty. No denying that. Unfortunately, the GOP is home to similar people. - Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) scheduled a fund-raiser with Nick Fuentes and declared his “love” for Gab, a media platform popular with white nationalists, neo-Nazis and antisemites, and for “the communities that use it.” - Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) aka Botox Man, invited Holocaust-denier Charles Johnson to be his guest at the State of the Union address. Gaetz appears frequently on “Infowars,” whose host, the infamous Alex Jones, has said, “It’s not that Jews are bad, it’s just they are the head of the Jewish mafia in the United States. They run Uber, they run the health care, they are going to scare you, they’re going to hurt you.” - Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) suggested that a deadly wildfire in California may have been caused by a laser from space controlled by wealthy Jewish bankers. She shared a video quoting a Holocaust denier’s claim that “Zionist supremacists have schemed to promote immigration and miscegenation.” Greene attended the American First Political Action Conference in Orlando, organized by Fuentes, who questioned whether comparing Vladimir Putin to Hitler “was a bad thing.” She voted against the Antisemitism Awareness Act because it “could convict Christians of antisemitism for believing the Gospel that says Jesus was handed over to Herod to be crucified by the Jews,” a Scriptural reading that was repudiated by the Catholic Church and most Protestant dominations decades ago. - Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), insisted in 2022 that a statement by Carl Palladino, a Republican candidate for Congress, that “Hitler is the kind of leader we need today. We need someone inspirational,” was taken out of context. Stefanik also declined to comment on Trump’s dinner with Fuentes and Ye. - Shortly after Ye tweeted “death con 3 on Jewish people,” Sen.-elect Eric Schmitt (R-Mo.) tweeted “America needs a @kanyewest @KidRock tour.” Like the former president, who maintained he didn’t know anything about Nick Fuentes, and Charles Johnson. Schmitt pled ignorance about Ye’s “antisemitic comments.” - Kari Lake, who is running for the Senate from Arizona, once said meeting a Nazi sympathizer named Greyson Arnold was “a pleasure” and advised her followers to join her on Gab. - Trump has trafficked in antisemitic tropes. Dining with Kanye West at Maro Lago was inexcusable. Pot, kettle, black. -
Have any vocal supporters of this Bill actually read the Bill's wording? Do they acknowledge that the provisions of the Bill are addressed by existing laws? Do they acknowledge that the wording is poorly written and can harm victims, and may not even be allowed under the US Constitution? No one voting against the Bill was in favour of allowing convicted sex crime offenders to remain any longer than their prison sentence. What they were voting against is a poorly written piece of legislation that may backfire and be used to delay removal of undesirables and to be challenged in court for years.

Kamala Harris Takes Lead Over Trump in Fox News Poll
Patong2021 replied to TallGuyJohninBKK's topic in Political Soapbox
Who is they? Trump's supporters? The first one was a follower of the Trump cult, but became disenchanted. The second one was similar to the first. Know what they both have in common? They were not mentally stable, much like some of the most vociferous members of the Trump collective on this site. The man is 78 years old going on 79. His family has a history of dementia. He is overweight and does little exercise. Riding a golf cart is not exercise. Walking a golf course is. Trump has been under enormous emotional stress for the past 8 years. No matter what he says, the presidential races, the trials, the legal litigation, the financial problems all have taken a toll. He may just die in accordance with the predictions of the actuarial tables, which is in a few years. If I were him, I would just say screw it, and walk away and enjoy the little time I had left. -
Covid is an inflammatory disease. It's impact on anyone is determined in large part by their genetic structure and pre-existing health conditions. The evidence is showing that many patients had long term damage to their critical organs. Covid has not been with us for enough time to see its long term impact on the body. Like radiation, impact may take years to determine the outcome.

The comments on this topic are certainly supporting the allegations of intentional lying from the Trump collective. Russian misinformation activities are exposed and credible evidence is provided. Patriotic Americans would be aghast and concerned to see the extent of Russian sabotage and infiltration, and the sad reality of American complicity in the sabotage. Instead, the Trump supporters come out, to swarm and to distract from the Russian sabotage. All sorts of unrelated references are made. Not one of the Trump supporters is upset or concerned by the Russian interference. This then gives rise to the sincere conclusion that these people are neither loyal Americans, nor, and most likely in some cases, American nationals. Instead they have put the political goals of Russia and Putin first and foremost.
