There is some truth to what you are saying. Traditional political parties operate as a team, and the President is not a king, and not even the quarterback, as the party has considerable control. Trump has engineered more control over the party than any other modern president. In comparison, Kamala Harris works within the party structure - which is why some of her positions have changed.

Trump might have confused the 1989 crash with a flight he was on later. In any case, there are about 90 days left in the campaign, and Trump blew a precious day talking about a helicopter ride, for no particular reason. Because Trump claimed he learned about Kamala Harris from Willie Brown aboard a crashing helicopter. But Willie Brown wasn't on the helicopter and it didn't crash or have an emergency landing. It was all in Trump's head.

Trump claimed that there was an emergency landing. You would know that if you read the story. I guess what you are going to do is ask a barrage of questions about the story as a means of burying it.
