    Compulsory is ....... compulsory, , without it you will not be able to renew the road tax. Any other insurance you have is voluntary. Compulsory does not cover vehicle damage.

    When the new company applies for and get approved the work permit they will also apply for permission to stay stamp. you need company to cancel work permit.
