  1. The OP's 2008 Ranger does not have a 2.2. It will be either a 2.5 or 3.0.
  2. They are like most cars, have 4 wheels and such.
  3. Daily road blocks on my way home with many fine given suggest they are being policed..... not sure bout the dog on a lead thing though.
  4. I have found in recent years more and more companies I call on the phone, they can certainly speak English..... but are really lacking in understanding English and anything outside of the parrot English they have learnt <deleted> them. Thats when I switch to speaking Thai.... they then understand what Iam asking. Same happens in my work, my dept has 30 employees, all speak fluent English.... maybe 5 of them understand English which then means the daily morning meeting whilst conducted in English resorts to Thai to get the answers needed.
  5. Except if it a named policy. I have 4 vehicles, all have 1st class and all insured only for me to drive. This saves me approx 100k per year.
  6. They are both based on the same architecture which was designed in 2004. If this basic fact is too much your thick skull to understand go hassle someone else with your clueless repliess.
  7. Not simple at all, unless one speaks Thai.
  8. No sour grapes here mate, both the revo/hilux and Fortuner are terrible vehicles. The chassis under both dates back to 2004 with only minor improvement since.
  9. Read the policy and see if the insurance is for named driver only.
  10. Wonder if scouse123 knows the old 14yr old truck and the new Fortuner he has shares the same chassis that has had minimal changes during that 14 years !!
  11. I suggest you go back to school an learn the difference between median and average before calling my post nonsense.
  12. Its about the same as here where I work. Techs are on a little less than 17 though.... but that is offset with 2 free meals per day, 50b per day fuel allowance, free private health insurance and a generous bonus scheme.
  13. You forgot to include some coin for the twice weekly salad toss.
  14. Her 4 years "work" equals zero actual "on the job skills" though, and that is what drives the low starting wage.
  15. True that. To me the thought of committing 50% of the household income to service the mortgage for the next 20 possibly 30+ years is downright scary !!
  16. I be wanting first shot at the shellfish cause sure as <deleted> I aint stirring no mans spent oysters.
  17. So less than 50% of their combined income.
  18. 9k a month is pretty much bang on for a min wage employee working 8hr shift 6 days a week as per labour law.
  19. I agree however the person I qouted specifically said average.
  20. 48hr week. 8hr per day. Over time paid after 8hr. Thai labour laws are very specific on this.
  21. Thai Labour Court is very strict on employers. That friend will hit pay dirt when she leaves and goes after the (ex)employer.
  22. That employer is breaking numerous Thai labour laws.
  23. 5'2", 40 kg, brown eyes and long straight brown hair.
  24. The structure of the cabin is carry over. Wider track gives the illusion of being bigger.
