No repaired data base and certainly no salvage title or anything like that. That car will 100% be repaired if the costs are less than the insurance write off value. The dealership locating a virtually identical car with the same or lower mileage really is a non starter as they may unwittingly give her one that is a repaired vehicle that suffered same or worse damage.

The authorities may not have even know it was illegally modified after its initial approval as a restaurant. FWIW I this place came up in discussion with a friend just gone, he told me he has been there several times for a meal and that the steak was rather good. So whilst it was converted to a nightclub it was still in some sort of capacity a restaurant too so really is in the grey area of illegal as not that long ago bars and clubs were getting restaurant licences to open.

They need to have 6 monthly building inspections to ensure the "restaurants" have not been illegally converted into nightclubs.

For it to be approved as the restaurant it was intended to be one would assume it was checked to make sure it met the appropriate building codes for that application. As for it being modified to a night club after the fact who knew or were receiving brown envelops for that matter, something that would be very hard to prove or prosecute.

Building application - Stated restaurant. Building inspectors - signed off restaurant. Business owner converted to night club after approval. Cannot see why the people that approved and signed off the build would have a twichy A-hole.

How does a potential buyer know it has been salvaged ? Not as though it would be issued with a Salvaged title like the USA.

A person would have to have rocks in their head to NOT have their financed car fully insured.... but hey, up to them.
