    Yeah I spent January (ICU), February (ICU) and most of March (Private Ward Room) in a private hospital. All paid for by Social security.

    That is sage advice however, Ford Ranger Australia first service - 1000km. Ford Ranger Thailand first service - 15000km. Seems even the OEM's are confused !

    Plenty of petrol V8 turbo's are making big HP and big Torque. In Aus they have 6cyls are making 1500+ HP with a torque curve to match !!

    My point is not imagined. There is 1000's of expats that live East Pattaya that were not hampered by Songkran festivities.... unless they chose to be involved of course.

    Put individual meters on each room and inform the tourist they will be charged for each unit used upon check out.

    I was slightly inconvenienced coming home from work on the 19th which added about 15 mins to my drive. Other than that... what is Songkran ?

    Some like the event, some do not. One can choose to participate or one can choose not to. Me myself, I neither like nor dislike how ever I choose to not participate and my life continues as normal. Up to you, as the saying goes.

    Does the company have a car importing licence ? If not he did not use a company. FWIW 5 years ago it was possible to import albeit with red tape and great expense.

    This looks like the accident I saw in Khao Noi Pattaya a few days ago. Happened at the bend in the soi at the swiss restaurant and the old Fatboy's bar.... I assume farang was coming down the road too hot and failed to negotiate the bend running wide and clean up the girl.... she was all <deleted> up and he looked to be unconscious.

    Yeah, before the import requirements were tightened to the point of effectively banning imports.

    He wont get an import permit thus putting the import process to bed in the very early stages.

    Used to be 90 days you could drive with your foreign licence supported by IDP.

    Absolutely and I would never rent a house in a hot humid climate that is not insulated.

    Adding roof insulation will help greatly but is not realistic if you are a renter not an owner.
