I know JCC saw him loads of times in Manchester..Love him..saw him with LKJ BUT MANCHESTER was rich for good music...magazine, joy division, slaughter and the dogs jcc, new order, the nosebleeds, Eddie edbanger, the snivling <deleted>s, missed the smiths but used to take acid with the drummers brother, funny enough I can't remember all but before the hacienda we had the factory, Punk went hand in hand with ska then plus we had good, cheap stand up venues....I was very lucky.you have bought back a lot of memories- I saw the reggae bands you mention as part of the RAR and Anti Nazi league but saw toots TOP! with Bob....toots was better I was blessed...yeah blessed....Pattaya is so dread for music it's hard work

Yes I've seen yellow man long time ago also LKJ a few times. He used to tour with Dennis Bovell Dub Band but he's retired now. John Mayall- misunderstood the blues BTW Bob Marley dad was an English officer. Wow! The dead live in the caribean- top stuff I still listen to them. but ive been to the UK Bristol and South london on my last two UK visits and very impressed with the music compared to Pattaya- put your f chin hand up sh!t Also plan B and the streets did great stuff albeit 10 years ago

Rubbish presumptions about illegality-I call TROLL

Yeah the Reggaetón is dread. It's a false flag. I don't agree entirely about music, youth, new and old styles etc because there is quality and there is intelligence and cultural significance and these transcend age . Younger people get some old music and I known there is good new music too but a lot off rap/ drill/Reggaetón is as bad as endless heavy rock with mind numbing teen angst ACDC which I also can't stand. Personally I'm a deadhead too.

Counting heads is pretty basic but very important -
I know full well what it means! Thank you very much. Diversity! Ya gotta laugh surely- somebody referencing their celebration of diversity but doesn't cross the cultural divide of the river thames thus echoing the prejudice and fear existing since Elizabethen times maybe before. Good luck. I do hope you can see the irony..

What Movies or TV shows are you watching (2022)
The Hammer2021 replied to CharlieH's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
This Is Spinal Tap (1984). Possibly the original, one and only, the best rockumentary but spoof musucal documentary SPINAL TAP. I watched it again last week and remembered how funny it was and how realistic. It was so accurate in the depiction of heavy rock bands and their fans it offended quite a few heavy rock fans and musicians who didn't know it was satire, a spoof, a comedy. Even today the argument about volume: "Turn it up to 11" resonates. Its worth rewatching and for those who haven't seen it you're in for a treat. -
Well I know what you mean but banning it or even moving it would be yielding to the police. Yeah I remember loyd coxone- sure I saw an article on him recently- last time I was home I got a great vibe, a Brixton vibe at a late nighters with a super sound system Brixton Buzz I think- just such good music compared to here in Pattaya which must be the worst of the worst in the world. That night the all nighters was Tulse Hill side and the mixers were two white longhair, top mixing skills and the audience a real south London mixture, all ages, all races, gender I noted the Africans mixing with the Jamaicans and us lot we 'the brixton white massiff' ha ha plus all the arty squatter crowd..with a wiff of south london edge etc but remarkable fun without a wiff of woke or 'diversity'. It makes me despair for the music scene here, often the best is Thai..... Jah wobble came here to do some dub mixing with Morlam BTW

Both my friend and I were dogged with knee problems for ages in the end one turned out to be gout the other ghonera. Anyway- just start off with an Xray - very cheap and anyway Pattaya to Bangkok is fast. Bumrungrad is right next to highway turn off.

"Now those drivers who cheat customers, refuse fares, quote higher rates or run up the meter can’t use the ‘low rates’ as an excuse.... what will their excuses be now ??? " The same as taxi drivers all over the world- Do you speak Thai? Or do you expect them to speak your language? Perhaps they might say "Sorry Geezer I don't go sarf of the river OR Sorry but I'm just finishing my shift and that's in the opposite direction. OR Sorry mate but I've just heard theres been a spill and traffic backed up for miles." Foreigners should remember taxi driving in cities is a stressful, difficult job and foreigners should remember that if they don't speak the local language then it's their fault for not understanding the explanation given. And just because Thai are smaller, agreeable and friendly they are nobodies personal servants to be at the beck and call of demanding customers. I've never had problems with Bangkok taxis since they installed metres in the 90s. And having been aware of their problems with petrol prices I always offer them more. So don't worry if you don't understand their excuse just get the next taxi, smile and be happy.

I will get his name next week for you. Twice I've had it and both times it went away. I'm sure it will go away eventually with the appropriate antibiotics for the correct duration of time and the usually attempts at good health care and urinary tract health care drinking extra water etc.. I am old BTW . I also have to take a daily medication.

So your belief in cultural diversity does not include South London!. Thus my rejection of woke buzz words. Diversity = division as you have so easily demonstrated. But I don't 'dip my white toe in diversity and celebrate it for the weekend then return home' . I live in a diverse community but I've never heard anybody round my way, black or white promoting diversity. Only activists and the white middle classes parrot the diversity line. Currently there are complaints about white gentrification! It seems diversity is not really about acceptance or tolerance but something quite different.

These e scooters are very common in UK now and somewhat controversial. They are NOT mobility scooters! They are for the strong and agile. The OP needs a three wheeled, electric vehicle

Ed visa? BTW I did say on the 'philipina girl' thread we could expect to see more such queries from people who have been using the covid exemption system -
