Super Poll: Gen. Prayut is Thai public’s favorite politician in 2021
Nojohndoe replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I do believe that the results of the question put to an undisclosed number of people selected in anticipation of a dictated response is genuine in the context and methodology of the question as put .- 88 replies

I have long conceded to the fact that the quality of water from any source in Thailand has a potential for some form of impurity or infection. The most evident is mineral which is also the most consistent cause for maintenance of systems . Less evident is the increasing need to use systems that remove the incremental increase of even deep levels of extracted bore water.

Oh ! It looks exactly the same except for the flower patterning. Ours can also be turned 180 degrees with off being at each end of rotation.. I wonder if the floral thing is an overlay that disguises access? I know it's galling to be denied the option of repair. Failing all else I would drill a hole in the top of the knob large enough to insert a slim shafted screw driver just to check it out !

Looks same as one I have recently worked on. If is then the following worked. The handle/knob/lever has a hidden screw under a cap that pops off/out easily using the point of a sharp knife. The shaft assembly is retained by a threaded insert that takes quite a bit to start unscrewing. I used a pair of long nosed pliers to lock into the retainer. The internals contain two ceramic parts (not ball valve). The leaking is due to the collapse of the o-rings that seal the shaft and apply contact pressure of the ceramic parts. Making sure the ceramic parts stay in proper position is the trick part. The cure is to replace the shaft o-ring ( I simply added a thinner one as a packer above the original and similarly to the o-ring seal on the assembly body). That one was very flat and at first attempt water leaked there but with a new one it was ok. Screwed it tight by degrees to check leaks so as not to crush the ceramic disks. With handle refitted is now a little stiff to rotate but at least no leaks. Originally I was expecting the problem to be scoring of surfaces. BTW I also fitted this type of faucet because metallic alloy ones basically "rotted". Real brass or stainless probably would solve that but ..Yeah I'm a cheap Charlie ! 555

Covid - 19, The Omicron Variant and Christmas 2021
Nojohndoe replied to Havenstreet1940's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
Accepted that the contagiousness of Omicron is elevated but as for the first death of a person assumed was diagnosed with said variant what were ther co morbidity factors ? An otherwise healthy person or someone with high risk factors that could have caused a death at any near time? Such information is crucial to public information and comprehension ! -
AstraZeneca offers no protection against Omicron after 100 days
Nojohndoe replied to webfact's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
The rationale of that then assumes the efficacy of AZ becomes useless against any form of covid-19 as the basis of an extrapolated further rationale applied to Omicron (and therefore to any other variant of "concern" ?) Or is it that this assumption being marketed as fact is purely a extension of the strategy to create profitable market dominance for Pfizer's mRNA "magic" solution? And which variant mRNA vaccine is that? The EUO one or the US FDA fully approved one? I believe I am not alone in growing suspicion there is compounding evidence that the "pandemic" is in more realistic terms a "global endemic disease" in same way as is Hepatitis B which despite infect 1 in 3 people has never been declared a pandemic . -
AstraZeneca offers no protection against Omicron after 100 days
Nojohndoe replied to webfact's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
How has it been established that AZ will not be effective after 100 days against a variant that has been identified for much less than 100 days? -
Could be Bell's Palsy which is not as serious as a stroke.

Until very recently have been impressed by the speed of deliveries. However the last two have stalled for 4 days at a final distribution center , no update status on Lazada, no direct chat on Lazada or Delivery Company.

DPM Prawit orders rainmaking operations ahead of dry season
Nojohndoe replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
A desperate PR appeal to indicate some relevance in continued presence ? Or is it a justifiable "heads up" to state funded departments to be proactive in the well funded services they claim to provide or in some instances have yet to provide what they have claimed to have done? -
Thai female lawyers fight for right to wear trousers in court
Nojohndoe replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
So Thai women should mandatorily hang their mammary units out to indicate a potential capacity to nurture offspring? Ideally never in business or Government offices at all ? Perhaps secluded in incubated facilities to pump out progeny like mindless chickens? -

Is your comment serious or ? Historical garments of Thai women have examples that while not can be called "trousers" as is the Western description are equivalent to . Replace "trousers" with "pants" and see what you get ! -

If the dispensation of justice becomes a retrograde dispute over the dress code of legal representatives then perhaps naked should be adopted as a leveling standard? Arguing a point of law in public while naked would surely determine the genuosity of presentation ! -
I always feel sorry for the millipedes because they seem harmless and have only the primitive defence of curling up .

Recently similar occasion where a guest sitting at an outside table looked down to see a very large centipede perched passively on her thigh . Much screaming but with no bad outcome except for centipede that ended up very dead!
