  1. True. Our family has been traveling a lot and we've always been lucky with Thai Smile. Nice when you're traveling with young children. I also like the no hassle all inclusive price and 20 kg included luggage policy. However, I use AirAsia as they fly to some exclusive destinations from Udon Thani. Now we're just taking the SUV and not flying at all. By the looks of the Hua Hin Sheraton parking lot this weekend it was pretty packed. To avoid more chances of COVID-19 many are driving locally instead of flying. Plus some of the prices are ridiculously high.
  2. Definitely no discounts in Thailand unless you're buying a car thats 3-4 years old. Thats the hard truth in Thailand. A few freebies and insurance for one year. If you're lucky. Probably not even that with the lack of computer chips. Unfortunately Thailand is one of the most expensive places in the world to buy a car, used it new.
  3. I tried and found inverter air-conditioning struggle during the hot season and during high humidity. Ended up removing them and using Mitsubishi Mr Slims. Despite the minimal extra cost I've had Cool rooms the last 3 years. Don't be upset. Many people swear on inverter's. But they didn't work for me.
  4. Its actually pretty cheap here in Thailand. One can get a little spoiled. I can't do without air-conditioning thats for sure!
  5. Oh please! Very few people enjoy sleeping anything over 24 celsius. Personally I prefer 20-22 celsius. The Only people who talk like you do just are to cheap or genuinely can't afford to pay for air-conditioning. Get back to reality!
  6. That really going to suck. Hopefully this government gets whats coming to them.
  7. Your not kidding! Expect a minimum of 30,000 baht a night! I had the pleasure of a false positive.
  8. I got the vouchers and quickly used them before the third wave in April. Terrible service. I can imagine even crappier service with fewer employees overwhelmed at check-in counters. Bad service can really set the tone for s holiday. Your better of using Thai Smile, I've always had a good experience with them.
  9. Recently statements from the government suggest that the government will bail out the airline at the last minute.
  10. Great stuff. It'll even work underwater. Good to have on hand for emergencies. This will stop the leak until you get a more permanent solution. You may end up tearing out and replacing part of the wall to get at the pipe. Fortunately in Thailand it can be done fairly cheaply and probably done in a day with the right workers.
  11. Even more unusual for any Honda (or Toyota) dealership to offer anything other than what JustanotherHun said. Skip the Widow tinting freebie offer and get another freebie. Tinting can be done cheaply anywhere.
  12. 45 million full 2 course doses. Anutin you'll need more.
  13. Horrible government from top to bottom. If you disagree it could mean jail time and fines.
  14. Not enough even for half the population. They never learn from their past mistakes.
  15. Much nicer in a comfortable car hire like Jakdd or Liverpool Lou mentioned. It's really not expensive compared to Western taxis. Nice guy!
  16. Of course. At least after your vaccinated you'll be less likely to catch it again.
  17. And people who don't want unvaccinated people ignoring overwhelming medical evidence contributing to the spread and mutation of COVID-19.
  18. We all know where that petition will end up. There doesn't seem to be any middle ground with this extremely conservative government. It's a pity. Pornography is the #1 most searched thing on the internet after Pornography.
  19. "Deputy Interior Minister assures enough water for coming tourists" Should be fine. Not that many tourist and a descent rainy season. Even in the driest years tourists would be the last to feel the pinch. Its the common folk who will be left high and dry, as it should be.
  20. Despite this, are many people going? Airports seems mostly crowded with Thai nationals arriving.
  21. Hard to say Lately Anutin,Pryutt, and a few others have been jetting around on Thai Air. There definitely not paying for it. And their not flying economy. Transparency isn't a strong suite of Thai politics. I'd assume the owed creditors are getting agitated.
