  1. That would be legally classified as rape . Not a chance.
  2. Why that ridiculous hypothetical?
  3. "...the decent profile..." What has decency got to do with a plane's descent profile?!
  4. Did you read the article? How much context and background do you want?!... "Thai Airways flight TG408, travelling from Singapore’s Changi Airport to Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport, transmitted a squawk 7700 distress code mid-flight, an alert used to indicate an urgent situation requiring immediate assistance. According to reports from flight tracking service Flightradar24, the emergency signal was sent while the aircraft was over the Gulf of Thailand. Despite the alert, the plane landed safely at Suvarnabhumi Airport at 20:34. It has now emerged that the distress call was prompted by a medical emergency on board. Reports suggest that a passenger suffered cardiac arrest, prompting the crew to request priority landing in an effort to provide urgent medical attention upon arrival".
  5. She got a great case! Publicly...why? I don't blame him!
  6. Win bikes do not have regulated, or meter, charges, they can charge whatever they want to and are not breaking the law...that's why he laughed at you. And he may well have had a couple of rides whilst you were scoffing your lunch for all you know.
  7. As you do with phone app payments also.
  8. They're free with every bank.
  9. Wasn't it all to do with needing facial recognition on the App to transfer more than 50k? I seem to be able to still transfer more than that with the same old App (SCB) - no facial feature. Yes, it was. Can't speak for SCB facilities.
  10. Changed my phone two months ago and neither BBL, KTB, Krungsri, UOB nor Kasikorn required a branch visit to continue using their phone apps on the new phone.
  11. Cobblers. Banks do not charge anything for updating passbooks, either using the machine of the bank staff at the counter. You're making that up.
  12. Merchants are charged that fee by the CC company when credit cards are used, vendors are not charged a fee by the bank for accepting debit card payments.
  13. He was posting a fabricated situation in order to have yet another Thai-bash. As you stated, there are no charges for QR transactions.
  14. Can you explain what that means please, what age-related transfer limits were imposed and which bank? Are you referring to facial ID being needed for transfers in excess of B50k?
  15. BBL. Krungsri, UOB and KTB have the facility.
  16. The banks that required it sorted it out successfully, certainly BBL, KTB, Krungsri, UOB and Kasikorn did.
  17. I thought that the facial recognition thing came out a while back. That was for certain levels of transfer using the phone app, not for opening new accounts.
  18. I thought as much. But, why was the OP charged 15 Bhat for a 250 Bhat transaction? He wasn't charged anything by BBL for his QR payment.
  19. That's what he posted but it is false information. There is no B15 per BBL QR payment.
  20. BBL have never charged for QR payments, either.
  21. BBL does not charge B15 for QR transactions.
  22. And they weren't deported?? Why not?? They were locked up for four months, with bail refused, until their release and return to New Zealand, apparently after negotiations involving NZ officials.
  23. Cycle riders don't require licences.
  24. They do but this is a foreigner-oriented forum publishing articles mainly relevant to foreigners.
