  1. You don't get out much, it seems. Maybe you've been banned from all search engines for inappropriate queries. Why should I use a search engine when I can just ask the person who first quoted it to edify me?
  2. Who was it that coined the phrase, "It takes one to know one"?
  3. Did they?... Alan Turing's formal school performance wasn't always stellar. He faced challenges in subjects like English and his teachers weren't always impressed with his work habits but he excelled in areas like mathematics and science. Newton did not excel in traditional school settings. While he wasn't a top academic performer, he possessed a remarkable aptitude for mathematics and science. Werner von Braun did not initially excel at school, particularly in subjects like physics and maths.

  6. are all Liverpudlians incapable of understanding sarcastic humour? No, idea, what makes you think that I'm a "Liverpudlian" (I suppose that you're referring to geographically specific ones?), perhaps you should do a survey.
  7. I know how M.S.C. is though and I am sure such a well educated gentleman like yourself boasts one of those! No, I don't have one of those, whatever it is, I don't have an M.Sc., either. Got a few O-Levels, though.
  8. We are not public figures running for POTUS What's the the difference? Is there a requirement for a specific level of confirmed academic achievement to be President?
  9. Neither is anyone else running for POTUS!
  10. "The fact is, ..." That's, actually, not a fact. Even if it were, so what?
  11. I wonder how keen all the lamely disparaging geniuses on this forum would be to display their educational records in public?
  12. In other words, Trump blinked. Again. In other words, so what?
  13. That makes sense The only B.S. is that you don't know how Bachelor of Science is abbreviated.
  14. ...except phones, computers and many other electronic items that have been announced as exempt.
  15. ...and the ones that are usually seen being worn really, honestly and truly, work!
  16. How is it respectful of others, exactly?
  17. But there is a Kobelco SK1000, from a Japanese brand, which is what it actually is and the OP is, obviously, a translation in which inconsequential errors are frequently made.
  18. Where have you been for the last 12 days? It was explained very early on that machines of that size would cause too much vibration that would risk the lives of any trapped survivors.
  19. It was reported very soon after rescue operations began that it was too dangerous to use large machines initially because of the danger of further collapse of the rubble due to the vibrations caused by that machines of that size.
  20. Don't be absurd and nonsensical...change the word by just three letters and it spells "killer", "death" or "deadly", and my 'b0llocks' makes just as much sense as your post.
  21. Let's hope he gets what he deserves and does all his time, plus the added time if he doesn't pay up; whether he's an old man or not (he's not) is irrelevant, ffs.
  22. Exactly right, our brain interprets it as a 3D image. Yes, exactly right, a mirror is not a 3D image as you claimed which was exactly wrong.
  23. I think the brits are certainly going after the money here in Thailand. How do you think they could do that?
