  1. Outside probably. They (hostesses) usually stand outside waving at the Jap guys as they walk past, and shout a few words in Japanese. As the article stated, he was a goldsmith and met her at the bar. Those bars are not restricted to the Japanese, the only entry requirement is money.
  2. As the article stated, he was a goldsmith and met her at the bar.
  3. EST. Gawd... You think that EST replaced Pepsi on retailers shelves?
  4. You really think that Pepsi is not widely available in Thailand?
  5. What, along the same lines as Nestle debacle, are you claiming happened to Pepsico?
  6. "...appears to be clearly intentional or they would have reached out to her by now to correct their mistake". If it was intentional, they'd have deported her or, at the very least, started the deportation process. They haven't.
  7. How do you know this? Has the DHS admitted it, or are you authorized to speak on their behalf? If the DHS had tried to deport her, it would have physically tried to deport her, not just sent her an email...that's how he knows. Deportees are not deported by email.
  8. "DHS Tries To Deport A US Born, American Citizen - Not Clickbait - Can't Make This Stuff Up!" Yes, it was clickbait. No one has tried to deport her.
  9. Well they got away with it with Carlsberg... Who got away with what? Entirely different circumstances...Carlsberg was not stolen by a Thai company.
  10. Many similar things? Etc.? Huh? You mean one western brand. Nescafe won.
  11. "No Thai outlets"? All outlets in Thailand are Thai.
  12. Thankfully, the opinions and calls of Asean Now posters mean nothing to anyone other than those AN posters. None of their "calls" will ever have any effect.
  13. How come? The "Elder Card" does not apply to the BTS system.
  14. It's very clear that it is for Thais only. Current BTS/MRT differences are irrelevant to the new scheme that they will both be part of, you know, electric commuter train services, as the OP stated.
  15. They'll only be buying discounted tickets for the registered name.
  16. Note that by their referencing commuter electric train services, the BTS's Rabbit card, and the pictured BTS, the Skytrain is, very obviously, included.
  17. Once again, Thailand financially assisting those who need it, not whinging 'kin foreigner expats!
  18. The OP is not referencing Thai residents, it's referencing registered Thai residents, income tax payers or not.
  19. Don't you realize that if you're handed the answer .... you'll likely forget it whereas if you do the work, you're more likely to remember. That'd be my problem, no need for you to worry about my retention ability, so why not answer my original question?
  20. Every consumer will paying more for goods that America doesn’t make and imports. The dopey Americans voted for higher taxes. So what are the services that you claimed Americans have lost?
  21. EMS 1669. Also register with the Tourist Police app, "i lert u", there is an icon which when clicked on results in an immediate call back from an English-speaking officer asking what help is required and shows your location. I know that this works because I clicked on it inadvertently and had the police on the phone immediately.
  22. Regardless of the "lies and stench", you're still tolerated.
