    Very easy to contact family. UK passports have an "Emergency Contact" section. It's not unlikely that the police also let the embassy know in view of the seriousness of his condition.

    Not anymore if you set it up online and do it yourself. Well at my bank anyways i cant speak for all. I was quite surprised when my bank told me. You're not very forthcoming with the name of the bank that you claim does free SWIFTs. Please tell me which bank it is that makes no charges for SWIFT transfers on their app?
