  1. Not sure, Lou. Well all you have to do is look it up, them, as I did, several times, to confirm the content and accuracy of my posts. The information is easily found from many different credible sources. The question was "What is the legal age of consent in Thailand" - it is 15. The OP did not present any qualifying conditions.
  2. Or you could read his OP... "...with the application for my Permanent Residency"
  3. More urban myth b0llocks...unless you've got something relevant, credible and not anecdotal to back it up.
  4. ...he'd be wasting his time and it'd be wishful thinking!
  5. ...who had never been there and were not in a position to rate the restautant is what it appears to be.
  6. How do you know that they were going to the bus station and, if they were, how do you know where they were travelling to and the cost?
  7. How is confiscating B385.6 million in assets from Tarit a "public joke"?
  8. Another useless post. What makes you think that they don't know or that they would only find out from AseanNow?
  9. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/dad-dies-suddenly-holiday-thailand-29131853?
  10. He served in the King's Regiment of the British army between 1969 and 1973, nowhere was it reported that he fought in a war.
  11. Stop your nonsense...it is you who needs to stop their nonsense, you speak for no one here except yourself and I'd guess that many members are interested in reports such as this that may be relevant to them.
  12. They are talking about not being able to pay at all, obviously, because they did not have alternates ready. Likely the Op would be escorted to an ATM neaby for cash. That's what I said, they, obviously, would (have to) accept an alternative payment method, such as cash.
  13. I'd guess that they probably couldn't be arsed wasting their time calling back someone who suspected that his credit card may not work when they had real customers who could pay the bill without issues.
  14. They are talking about not being able to pay at all, obviously, because they did not have alternates ready. No, that was not what was being talked about, it was a hypothetical, he was never there in that situation, obviously, you'd know that if you bothered to read the OP. If it had been a real situation he'd have been an idiot for taking a crowd of business colleagues to an expensive venue with no means to pay except a foreign credit card that he wouldn't have been able to use.
  15. ... its also likely they may not have wanted to respond with specifics - hence the information being vague that he has been found and is receiving consular assistance. Oh.
  16. That would cause significant concern to my family and that of anyone I know. Oh.
  17. <deleted>, how do you know what day she initially reported it to the police? There's no suggestion that she "waited all this time" before reporting the theft.
  18. "I litterly had to..." Unbelievable! You're a teacher, "litterly" [sic]? Perhaps semi-literacy is a disease?
