What makes you think that the finished road surface is going to be 3 ft below the level of your house? The top of the rebar in the drain wall appears to be only inches lower and that will obviously be below the road surface, surely? -

How is the government "fleecing" tourists? You're not seriously suggesting that a B300 tourist fee (if it ever happens) is fleecing, surely? A Revenue Dept questionnaire to Thais and PRs is not fleecing anyone, either.

As already recommended, you can't go far wrong with Mr Bag-Fix. Used them several times.
