BBL bank photo copies of Visa page.
Liverpool Lou replied to arick's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
BBL had the policy long before you say Prayuth mandated it. I was a victim of the policy way before the coup when I inadvertently overstayed a couple of days and was denied a withdrawal from my BBL account until I was valid again. -

The banks, including BBL, have been doing it for years, it is nothing new, although you may not have been aware of the procedure. -

If the taxi's registered number was known why would there be any need to publicise it? From the public's perspective, how many people check a taxi's registration number before getting into it? -

That's not the case, there are not many bank branches that couldn't come up with just B3m on demand. -

Quite easy, as there are many instances. This I found in 2 seconds..............https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2024-05-29/twice-convicted-dui-driver-charged-with-murder-in-crash-that-killed-14-year-old-in-newport-beach I stand corrected, sort of, but absolutely not the norm... "Those convicted of DUI in California must be given a “Watson advisement,” which advises them that those who kill others while driving under the influence can be charged with murder".
