  1. EVs (or any other vehicles, come to that) do not come into contact with salt water on these ferries.
  2. Simple logistics suggests that wouldn't be the case as EVs are, on average, only 10-15% heavier than comparable ICE-engined vehicles.
  3. So what? Isn't it a private company that can impose its own rules and procedures?
  4. Gawd, another keyboard hardman.
  5. Why would possibly 17-, 18,- 19-year olds need parents to accompany them at a not unusually late hour?
  6. You have an import licence for vegetables or seeds? https://www.khaosodenglish.com/news/2023/04/11/tourists-cannot-bring-fresh-fruit-into-thailand/
  7. I did. You can, too. I don't need to, you're the one with the daft question and, it seems, you've had the answer.
  8. This weight was measured by UPS and printed by UPS. So? How does that alter the fact that 1lb is the chargeable weight?
  9. But still pedantic Accuracy does not equate to pedanticism.
  10. Easy, as he showed in his post, 0-2.5oz is billable as 1lb.
  11. Yes it's a statement of fact to which there is no argument Thank you.
  12. No, that's just a 40-year old, hackneyed urban myth
  13. another facetious comment.. Not at all, another accurate and serious comment. You don't actually know what "facetious" means, do you?!
  14. You are being facetious, Lou. No, I definitely am not, I am being serious but, more to the point, accurate.
  15. Easy. Just end free visas for Russians, and any other visa category. Like many other countries have already done. But more countries (120) haven't!
  16. Yes. I did preface the statement in my reply with a firm 'IMO'. Am I not allowed to have an opinion? No, you did not preface that comment with anything and yes, you are allowed an opinion, did anyone say that you aren't? Here's your "unprefaced" comment... It shouldn't be. See, no preface.
  17. Russian enter Thailand visa-free, how would those "visas" be cancelled?
  18. Yes, I have. I just come straight out and ask them. Most of them admit that they are. That's as likely to be true as your Russian/Japanese family comparison story is.
  19. ...The war is still ongoing and more Russian cannon fodder is needed. Why are they sunning themselves on Thai beaches? So what, if they've already served as required or maybe in the category that does not have to serve? Why shouldn't they sun themselves on a beach, is it not allowed?
  20. No, literally, they are not in every condo building, every restaurant and every train in Thailand and you have no way of knowing which, if any of them, are draft dodgers. If they are, it has bugger-all to do with you, or anyone else, except their government.
  21. What's right with them? Did you read my OP? I did. You cited one alleged example of one mother, that's all, and there is no confirmation that your improbable-sounding tale was true and unembellished.
