  1. Thank you. I have never heard of Big Star the group as I never listened to 'power pop'. Maybe they got their name from QuickDraw McGraw.
  2. That'll do. Congrats! Haven't thought about this one for a long time but I knew I'd heard that "BigStar" thing somewhere before: (from the QuickDraw McGraw cartoon theme song about 1960) Yipee yi-o ki-a, Galloping all the way Great big star on his chest. Outdraws all of the rest. Fastest gun in the west. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quick_Draw_McGraw
  3. AIS is listed on the hospital bill as the 'sponsor' who paid the bill. AIS told me on the phone that they can only issue a guarantee-of-payment with a go-ahead from WrLife in Paris. Since WrLife recently notified me that my annual premium is now adjusted for a claim this past year, I will assume they were the ones who ultimately handled and paid for the claim. Again, I am only answering as to how my claim was paid. All these other existential questions can be discussed with someone else.
  4. I was responding to a query as to how my claim was handled and that's what I provided. That's what AIS does.
  5. From the Assist Int'l website: Guarantee of Medical Expenses – In case of hospitalization, AIS can confirm the coverage for medical expenses at the insurance company, issue the Letter of Guarantee to the medical facility on behalf of the insurance company, reimburse the medical expenses, obtain the medical information and translate it to the language of insurer. – Inpatient services – Outpatient services http://assistinter.com/main/?portfolio=services
  6. OK, how about a high percentage? How about everybody but me?

  10. In 2016 I had a pre-screening /lab tests for a colonoscopy. The GI doctor said: Your creatinine levels are not good. I said: I know. I take lithium (LiCO3) She said: For how long have you been taking lithium? I said: 40 years. However, in subsequent medical discussions, the doctors have said, as long as the creatinine levels are stable, not a major concern.
  11. Walker brought U. of Georgia a national football championship and won the Heisman trophy as best player in US. What else do gen-u-ine Georgians need to know?
  12. Just to clarify from the Newsweek link in the OP: Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker said individuals born after 1990 haven't "earned the right" to change America and should have their citizenship revoked if they think better countries exist.
  13. Sure but (most) everyone knows who was Steve Jobs and his adventures -- or some will say misadventures -- are well documented.
  14. I lost you right there.
  15. Or the old saw: Despite the cost of living, it still remains popular.
  16. This whole conversation is not on the Health & Medicine Forum but on the Community Pub where it belongs.
  17. Sure. I'm glad to know after about 50 years of adult swimming that swimming is resistance exercise. Kinda like that line from the Moliere play (1670) loosely: "All these years, I never realized that I was speaking prose."
  18. About resistance exercise: In general terms, swim resistance is the effect of water upon the motion of a swimmer. Swim resistance is a concept closely related to drag, the hydrodynamic principle of resistance created by a fluid to forward motion. https://www.encyclopedia.com/sports/sports-fitness-recreation-and-leisure-magazines/swimming-resistance
  19. Thanks for letting me know what is best.
