Why do retirees marry in Thailand ?
jerrymahoney replied to Franck60's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
And why not? Her family bought them. I just help with the monthly payments. Neither my name nor my wife's name legally appears anywhere. -

Not that I agree with your premise but to me it is chickenXXXX to anonymously post a sad or confused emoji rather than say what is the real bother. At least previously you could leave sad or confused emojis but not anonymously as someone just did here. -

This question has been asked one form or another many times. But, if you choose to respond about one's experience with one's own wife, you have to be prepared to be hit with following responses as to why your wife is not a fake wife. -
Avoid Being the Stereotypical American When Travelling Abroad

Fine but the actual heading of the CNN article is: How to avoid the ‘stupid American’ stereotype while traveling abroad -
I think there is a mix-up here. The Palm Beach, FL grand jury testimony was just released July 1, 2024 by the Court. The OP link is to Donald Trump’s alleged ‘sexual proclivities’ graphically detailed in new Epstein documents The new papers contain ‘incendiary claims’ about the former president Los Angeles Monday 08 January 2024 20:22 GMT

Maybe so but I was referring to a post that said "This is total desperation from the most dodgy political party in the western world" and I don't think he was referring to Republicans. The Palm Beach Post sued to have the 2006 grand jury testimony released following Epstein's death in 2019. The lower court and Florida appeals court rejected their request saying current law would not allow it. So a law was introduced and passed by the dominantly Republican legislature that would allow the release under the current circumstances and the bill was just signed by DeSantis.

My apologies but is certainly entertaining (?) to have a topic that my breakfast is healthier than your breakfast -

REDUX Thank you. I thought the put-on would be obvious but I guess not. The topic was cereal topic-starter posters because a topic about serial topic-starter posters is verboten. -

Well I figured this would be moved to the food section but it really wasn't about food. I wake up early and it just seems the same people just about every day have to start a new topic. But one must not complain about serial topic starters. So I just decided to become a cereal topic starter. -

I eat oatmeal with berries when it's not hot. But it's hot. But really there was a warning on here not to complain about serial posters so I just decided to become a cereal poster. -

Well most days I start my my 4 AM with brewed coffee and granola cereal. Just like some serial topic starters start every morning with a new topic. -
Judge releases Epstein grand jury records from criminal case in Florida The records from Jeffrey Epstein’s 2006 criminal case show how prosecutors raised doubts about the credibility of teenage victims recruited by the wealthy financier. Updated July 1, 2024 at 8:46 p.m. EDT|Published July 1, 2024 at 4:23 p.m. EDT Judge Luis Delgado ordered the records released on the day a new law signed by (Republican) Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis took effect permitting grand jury records in the 2006 case to be made public. Grand jury files are usually kept secret. State Rep. Peggy Gossett-Seidman (R) who co-sponsored the bill to allow the records to be released, noted that two victims took their own lives in recent years. “This debacle should never again be allowed to occur in our court system,” she said. “Law school professors throughout the country have lectured on this case as an example of miscarriage of justice and abuse of our system.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2024/07/01/jeffrey-epstein-grand-jury-records/

When I said 'physical' I really meant the non-political but you're point is taken.
