The other Black politician who says he was with Trump in that near-fatal chopper crash Former Los Angeles city councilman and state senator Nate Holden said in an exclusive interview late Friday that he remembers the near-death experience well. 08/09/2024 10:56 PM EDT The man who almost crashed in a helicopter with Donald Trump told POLITICO Trump confused him with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown — despite the former president’s repeated insistence it was Brown. (NB Holden is 6'1" -Brown 5'6") It was Nate Holden, a former city councilman and state senator from Los Angeles, who said in an exclusive interview late Friday that he remembers the near-death experience well. He and others believe it happened sometime in 1990. ... Holden also connected with Brown on Thursday. “I said, ‘Willie, were you almost in a helicopter crash with Trump also?’ He said ‘No.’ I said, ‘I was the one, Willie.’” Before he hung up with POLITICO, Holden assured a reporter that nobody discussed—let alone criticized—Kamala Harris as Trump claimed Brown did. https://www.politico.com/news/2024/08/09/trump-plane-crash-california-00173487

One of the Thai law firms states: "Hence, gift tax is collected to prevent inheritance taxation avoidance." So while some on here are stating (rightly or wrongly) that WOW! they can transfer up to 20 million baht each year as a gift tax-free -- -- some of the persons to whom the FEB 2016 gift tax revision was intended then were saying: WOW! so now we can ONLY transfer up to 20 million baht each year tax-free..

The Thai Revenue Code No. 40 you reference went into effect 01 FEB 2016. If it were possible to bring in funds originating ex-Thailand into Thailand up to 20 million baht per year tax-free, you would think some of the high-flier clients of the Thai law and tax accounting firms would have utilized this capability as of 02 FEB 2016. But there are no indications anywhere that they have.

3 Trump execs, 2 pilots die as helicopter crashes in Parkway median Oct 10, 1989 LACEY TOWNSHIP -- Three of Donald Trump's top casino executives were killed when their helicopter plummeted into a wooded median of the Garden State Parkway in Ocean County Tuesday afternoon. Stephen F. Hyde, 43, who bore responsibility for Trump's three Atlantic City casino properties, Taj Mahal top executive Mark G. Etess, 38, and Jonathan Benanav, 33, executive vice president of Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino, were killed along with the craft's two pilots. "I'm sick, just sick; it's unbelievable," repeated Trump several times, his voice cracking with emotion during an interview Tuesday. "When I first heard about it, I prayed it wasn't true ... then I found out what happened. I can't find the words," Trump said, his voice trailing off. https://pressofatlanticcity.com/3-trump-execs-2-pilots-die-as-helicopter-crashes-in-parkway-median

Trump said he ‘went down’ in helicopter ‘emergency landing’ with former San Francisco mayor, who says it never happened = CNN Published 10:47 PM EDT, Thu August 8, 2024 “I know Willie Brown very well. In fact, I went down in a helicopter with him. We thought maybe this is the end. We were in a helicopter going to a certain location together, and there was an emergency landing,” Trump told reporters gathered at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida for his first news conference since the Democratic ticket was announced. The New York Times reported Thursday that the former president apparently confused Willie Brown with former California Gov. Jerry Brown, with whom he toured wildfire damage by helicopter in November 2018. A spokesperson for Jerry Brown told the Times that “there was no emergency landing and no discussion of Kamala Harris.” California Gov. Gavin Newsom, who also toured the wildfires in 2018 as governor-elect, said of Trump’s account, “I call complete B.S.,” according to the Times. https://edition.cnn.com/2024/08/08/politics/trump-helicopter-story-willie-brown/index.html

In bank parlance that is sometimes called a 'mule account': A mule account refers to a bank account that is used to facilitate illegal activities such as money laundering and fraudulent transactions. It serves as an intermediary between the criminal organization and the illicit funds, making it difficult for law enforcement agencies to trace the money flow. https://www.tookitaki.com/glossary/mule-account I will guess some banks have internal controls to watch out for the above described in-&-out type activity.

Mick Jagger presented the top ten list on Tuesday's (2012) edition of "Late Show with David Letterman" on CBS: "Top Ten Things I, Mick Jagger, Have Learned After 50 Years in Rock 'n' Roll." Number 8. "Before shouting 'Hi Seattle!' make sure you're in Seattle." Corollary: Before giving one's informed opinions as to why there is a memo, make sure there is a memo.

Have you noticed that 2 entire WrLife topics have been recently, not just locked, but entirely disappeared from view most likely because they contain words and opinions that might have legal implications?

As also noted above, the official response to CNN when asked whether the Harris campaign were disputing the substance of the Daily Mail article, the response was: No Comment.
-
As I posted page1 this topic: I think it is maybe quite the opposite: The NYT notes that the extra-marital affair by Emhoff prior to his marriage to Harris was noted in the vetting process for Harris as Biden's VP in 2020. If the affair was disclosed but NOT the pregnancy or baby, that would be no small deal.

Emhoff acknowledges affair during first marriage after tabloid report Updated 6:30 PM EDT, Sat August 3, 2024 The Daily Mail reported that the woman became pregnant and that, according to a close friend, she “did not keep the child.” The woman, whom CNN is not naming, did not return a voicemail on Saturday afternoon looking for comment. Brian Fallon, a spokesperson for the Harris campaign, declined comment beyond the statement. Asked whether the campaign was disputing the basic facts reported by the Daily Mail, Fallon also declined comment. https://edition.cnn.com/2024/08/03/politics/doug-emhoff-acknowledges-affair-during-first-marriage/index.html
-
Right now there is a glaring discrepancy between the official Emhoff statement and the Daily Mail article at issue.
-
The only operative part here for me is did Harris and Emhoff mislead the 2020 Biden VP Vetting Committee by admitting to the affair but not mentioning there was a pregnancy involved. Emhoff's just now official released statement mentions the extra-marital affair but no mention of any pregnancy.
-
You fellas aren't getting it: What the Times is implying is that, while the extra-marital affair was disclosed to the 2020 Biden VP vetting committee but NOT the baby, it is possible and I say POSSIBLE, that Harris misled the committee.

To note again that the NY Times article on the topic references The Daily Mail as the source but NYT makes no mention of a pregnancy or baby. One of the NYT article authors: Ken Bensinger covers right wing media and national political campaigns for The Times.
-
The NY Times article on the topic mentions The Daily Mail article but no reference to any pregnancy, or baby delivered. However, for those so inclined, reference the Richard Dreyfuss character in The American President movie singing: It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
-
The NY Post article linked above refers to breaking news here: "Naylor did not keep the baby, a close friend with direct knowledge of the affair and pregnancy told The Daily Mail. It’s unclear what, exactly, the friend meant." So here it is: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13703933/Kamala-Harris-Doug-Emhoff-cheated-nanny-Najen-Nayler.html

Just now NY Times: Trump Agrees to a Fox News Debate With Harris on Sept. 4 According to Mr. Trump’s post on social media, the debate will take place in Pennsylvania, a crucial battleground state. It was unclear early Saturday whether Ms. Harris had agreed to the debate and its terms. Representatives of her campaign did not respond to requests for comment. A spokeswoman for Fox News also did not respond to questions.
