Has this "Chemtrail" lunacy on X reached Thailand yet ??
Woof999 replied to Chivas's topic in General Topics
Unfortunately you're 0.01% of the problem. -
Do you have any way of aerating the pool? That's the best way of raising PH (for free almost) without putting your total alkalinity out of whack. If you're doing your own chemicals then you need to check a lot more than just PH and free/total chlorine. Get some AquaChek 7-Way Pool and Spa Test Strips or similar. Well worth the money.

My little contribution to forum guidelines
Woof999 replied to george's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
The overall point that it's trying to make is pretty much on the money. I'd drop the "I still like the person" though as it makes it sound as if I'm back at school (long memory). -
AstraZeneca withdraws Covid-19 vaccine citing low demand
Woof999 replied to TallGuyJohninBKK's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
Indeed. I was just highlighting that the percentages shown in the post I quoted looked small but, even when applying only the lowest %age and to the lowest age groups least likely to have underlying conditions, would still equate to many tens of thousands of deaths. A common narrative is that COVID only really killed the elderly or those with pre-existing conditions. It didn't. It killed the otherwise healthy in frightening numbers too. -
AstraZeneca withdraws Covid-19 vaccine citing low demand
Woof999 replied to TallGuyJohninBKK's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
Those %ages are actually quite scary. Let's not forget that COVID was ridiculously contagious. I know of very few people that did know have known infections. The lowest death rate on the chart for an >10 year old is 0.2%. Let's take just the UK population of 67M and take only those aged between 10 and 39 years old, which I'd estimate at 50%. 67,000,000 * 0.5 * 0.002 = 67,000. 67,000 young people dead in the UK alone, including many with no pre-existing conditions is not to be scoffed at. -
What is the make up of the team? Ages, genders (only 2 please), type of company, type of job roles the people hold?

Went to a grammar school and learned that, if I didn't know the best phrasing within a few minutes, I should totally re-word the sentence to something that I knew made sense. For example, I might write: That reminds me of yesterday, when my friend and I were playing.

You think a significant number of people were killed by ventilators? Why were they on the ventilator in the first place? Too may assumptions and inferences from things I've not implied. I'm not from the US. Fauci worked directly or indirectly for Trump. I'll give him some credit for at least having the balls to show us how much of a nutter Trump was for suggesting we get injected with bleach or disinfectant, or irradiated with massive doses of UV. I tend to believe the doctors and nurses that were working on the front line and seeing what COVID did to previously healthy people first hand. There were many such cases all across the UK media (left leaning, right leaning and closer to central). The flu this was not (to another poster). Actually there we would be similar, except that I'm on to other things now as I don't have the time to polish my hindsight glasses and shout "I told you so" while denigrating the majority of the world's medical experts with no personal credential greater than a boy scout first aid badge.

... and the reverse is equally impossible to prove, so what is your point? Do I believe medical experts or some random conspiracy theorist on a minor forum who is apparently "seeking the truth"?

Manhole thefts in Bangkok leading to fatal incidents
Woof999 replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
Effectively it already is. The manhole cover would almost certainly show where it was from and any merchant with even half a brain would know that it was stolen. It's the same with cell phones. Really simple to tell if the phone belongs to the seller or not, but that doesn't stop it being easy to sell stolen ones. I don't know the specific law here, but buying known stolen goods is illegal in many places. The person stealing a manhole cover should be held responsible for all accidents related to it, on top of the theft. If someone falls down the sewer and dies, it's manslaughter. -
Business Class + Re-entry permit at Suvarnabhumi
Woof999 replied to Crossy's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Last year I did the "tell the Fast Track IO that you want a re-entry permit" and was told how to get there after the Fast Track stamp. This year I didn't bother with Fast Track, just went through the left most departure area and straight to the re-entry desk. I was there at around 1am though and could already see that the queues were low. In all it was probably faster than using Fast Track. -

A decent investigator could get a very close estimate of the speed based on the damage etc. Looking at what's left of the Fortuner's rear end, he was for sure travelling. Those XMax and the like are ripe for tuning. Obviously I've no idea if that is the case here, but it's not difficult and not that expensive to make them go considerable quicker than stock. A friend of mine bought one a few months ago and spent another 150k to make it go "faster". Each to their own.

He very clearly answered your annoying, repeated question. What he didn't do was to give you the answer you wanted to hear, which was "yeah you're right and I'm wrong", probably because you're not. -
Riding straight into the rear of a stationary vehicle while clocking around 100mph is a pretty good indicator. Regardless, RIP. At least it would have been instant.

I would agree with you on the semantics, except that Trump says "They're poisoning the blood of our country". (https://www.reuters.com/world/us/trump-repeats-poisoning-blood-anti-immigrant-remark-2023-12-16/). He has said this on more than one occasion. Trump would appear to have no issues denigrating others for acts that he has no issues doing himself.
