  1. 1 . I have stated that many time before and you keep asking . I cannot keep replying with the same answer over and over again .........................once again, its the the Ukraine war that has caused high inflation and Covid..........................no I cannot keep writing the same thing over and over again, sorry 2 I read that information from a link from the charity , it may have been from that link or another one and it also stands to reason, more people got food from food banks when they werent working during the pandemic 4 . That is common sense . If there are less people coming to live in the U.K , then there will be ,more housing available , same with jobs . 5 Just say for example all the six million E.U citizens in the UK go back to Europe , there will be six million house vacancies where they used to live 6 Surely you can remember ? Do you really need me to tell you what both sides of the campaign were saying ? Its been repeated many time before and its common knowledge
  2. But its you who doesn't understand . We are not bothered if Brexit has had a detrimental effect on the U.K economy . You can keep saying it over and over again, and exaggerate as much as you like . The U.K is doing just fine being out the E,U and we aren't bothered if being out the E.U has had a detrimental effect on the economy . Like, Who cares ? Not me
  3. Ray, You seem to be getting him and me mixed up again, it was me who posted the quoted bit above ,it was me, not him
  4. I posted facts and it isn't my opinion . If you feel something wasn't factual, then please reply to the point I made and give your reasons why you think it wasn't factual
  5. The U.K Gov seems to be waging way on small private landlords by increasing taxes and other measures and many UK landlords are selling their rental properties and now there's a shortage of rental properties available
  6. No need to go to those extremes , it is just part of normal discussion , if you don't understand what another person says , then you ask and they explain or clarify . That is how normal people converse , you may be suffering from playing too much link tennis , when you just posts links to other people and they post links back .
  7. If you accuse people of being racist , you could at least explain why you think that , but I shall just put that down to yet another groundless accusation , as they usually are
  8. I did actually ask you if you could give your own opinion and not just send a link , which is six years old an from the USA. I take it that you cannot explain your own claims
  9. To send message to other people for some reason , which one can only speculate
  10. I did post the same graph earlier on in this thread and as I previously explained already , I did mean that the sharp rise in the 2020 /21 food bank usage was down to people using them during the pandemic AND the decline in usage last year was because people weren't using them as much because of the pandemic had ended
  11. Planet Earth has been cooling since its formation 2. 5 Billion years ago and it will cool to such an extent the enteral bits will turn to rock and all life forms will perish . We need global warming to keep Planet Earth a habitable place
  12. Happy new year , still the season to be merry
  13. As you as you lot promise to stay down here and not try to apply for a visa to come and visit us
  14. The Dutch miss us and want us to re-join , they still remember history
  15. Which areas did you visit and how long did you stay for ?
  16. What does your current location have that CM doesn't have , which makes you current location more interesting than CM ?
  17. Do keep up with the times, those long lorry queues got sorted out and there's no longer any queues apart from when the ferry's don't sail across the channel
  18. Yes, 2.2 million food parcels per year , works out at about 6000 food parcels given out per day . Trussell Trust gave out 6000 food parcels per day in 2021/2022 , which would have been received by 2000 different people if they had one food parcel everyday , so 2000 people received food parcels
  19. Edited my own post to remove the letter "s" from "increases" to the new word of *increase* to avoid confusion and I suppose that I should put the word *year* in-between previous and increase to avoid confusion
  20. You seem to have misunderstood my post . What I meant was that there was a decrease in food bank usage last year and that decrease last year was caused by a rise the pervious year which was due to Covid measures and lock-downs . I also didn't say that food bank usage had only increased since the pandemic , you just imagined that I said that (or misunderstood what I meant)
  21. A report from an left leaning American newspaper from 2016 ? Why cant you answer the question yourself and write your own words ?
  22. Like, you are asking me when the pandemic began ? Have you just arrived on planet Earth ? Covid began in year 2020 !!!!!!!!!
  23. Are you aware that British people are of the same racial demographics as the rest of the E.U ? As British people and E.U citizens are of the same races , how could a vote to leave the E.U be considered to be racist?
  24. 1 , I don't know about the UK poverty rates , but any increase since 2020 (Brexit) would have been primarily due to Covid and Ukraine 2 Food bank usage decreased last year , although the previous increases were caused by the pandemic and lockdown and last years decrease was caused by pandemic restrictions being lifted . 3 Again , I have no idea about UK exports 4 British people can no longer go and live in the E.U and also E.U citizens cannot now go and live in the U.K and this will benefit British kids with things like housing availability and the jobs market in the UK 5 More housing and jobs available in the U.K 6 Both sides gave a biased opinion /prediction of how the UK would be effected by Brexit Anymore questions ?
  25. Completely untrue , Boris Johnson was a Brexit supporter long before he became P.M , he was a prominent supporter of the Brexit campaign in 2016 and became PM in 2019
