I would have no intention to live on 40K a month. I very much doubt that I could. My average expenditure per month is at least double that and I neither drink alcohol, smoke, or frequent bars.

I was alluding to the use of the word 'tragic' in a news report, which, in these circumstances, I find totally inappropriate. Innocents caught up in fatal situations can be described as tragic. A man knowingly speeding on a high powered bike that he clearly did not control, therefore risking other peoples lives, as well as his own, is not tragic, it's stupidly irresponsibility resulting in his own death.
