Thailand Faces High Road Fatalities as Songkran Safety Measures Launch
Gottfrid replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Ok, but there are no excuses for that, as it´s very wrong and come with high risks. -
Swede's Split-Second Distraction Triggers Buriram Accident
Gottfrid replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
No, you are not damned both ways. You still have a foot that can remove the bottle if in the way. Also, if you slow down and drive into the side, you are of course not making an abrupt stop in the middle of the road. You slow down and at the same time driving out on the shoulder. It´s nothing judgemental, no hindsight and no need to be an expert. The only thing you need is to be an experienced and composed driver making the right decisions. And no, we do not get the right to call something that might pose a deadly risk for others a mistake. But, all of that is of course only my opinion, and based on my experience driving cars and riding motorbikes for over 37 years without any accidents. Anyone with that kind of track record, are of course welcome to oppose. -
Not Approved Because I'm Not High So

Really? We have thin skin, doesn´t we? Yes, negative it was, but still no insult as the meaning was to use you in the broader meaning. However, you took it personal, so it might have been right, then. -

Out of your love for cartoon, I would say, you are not really with us in the real world. Besides that, blissfully single. My experience tells me that there are only people who didn´t find one who names it like that. Anyway, not need to be any Sherlock to understand. If a bottle or something else falls down, you keep your composure and drive to the side, picking it up. Anything else is a dangerous person on the roads. -

Where did I insult you? What you did, however, is to let go of the first sentence, and only answer what suits you agenda. So, is a woman that speak true to you offensive in your world? -

So a woman that not leads you on, and tell you the truth from start, is offensive to you? You know, if she believes you don´t fit in the circle, than she is probably right. -

Topless Dancing at Songkran Spurs Cultural Image Controversy
Gottfrid replied to snoop1130's topic in Isaan News
No, that not true, as Thailand is not a capital. It´s a country! Bangkok might be, but smaller cities like Pattaya beats it by far. Also, that is not the cultural image of the country, as it belongs to the entertainment industry. Cultural heritage is a totally different thing. -
Again at a zebra crossing! Why is it so many times a songthaew involved in accidents or van drivers? They are supposed to be better as they work on the roads every single day. Also, not anything about the driver and his excuse for not stopping when other vehicles did? Ok, seen from the other side, it looks a bit like they try to cross when oncoming traffic is too close. But, as said, when other vehicles slow down and stop, the songthaew driver should as well.

Yeah, the rough and hard group who can´t even control their own people from bombing, killing and terrorist activities are showing their thin skin again. Seems like the Islamic Committee can´t accept Thailand. Here a Wai, apology and 500-2000 baht is ok even for a kick in the head that hospitalize the victim. They need to accept the rules where they settle down like everybody else. Besides that, good on Uncle Tony for issuing an apology and trying to sort out the matter. However, he is talking to a group that will never understand, as they think they can set their own rules in every country they settle in. No, it only highlights the stupidity of a senseless group of people. In their minds, their people never do anything wrong, but as soon as we draw a funny sketch we should be doomed to death.

Yeah, looks like the stupid no-real-man figure deserved it. Constantly harassing her and slapping. He just went too far. Moreover, ex-husband, separated for over 5 years. He was just to stupid to get it!

Gottfrid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Exactly! What? The 30 baht health scheme is not her idea. It was already there before she took office. Digital wallet was scrapped, and payments where made to bank accounts.- 86 replies

Thailand Faces High Road Fatalities as Songkran Safety Measures Launch
Gottfrid replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
That´s because over 80% of the population float the rules, drive drunk, wear no helmet and are speeding. Not that the Thai driver license and poor education does anything better, but too many also drive without license.- 56 replies
