Warning Signs: The Looming Collapse of a Critical Ocean System
GammaGlobulin replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I already TOLD you. Doctors are NOT scientists. Please do not say that the fault is with science. Doctors do NOT practice the scientific method, and are totally NOT scientists. Doctors are ARTISTS....a little dab here, and another dab there. -

True. -
I have no time to give the likes of you any old course..... But, just so that do not leave you with NOTHING....then....first read this from the AI...and then do your own research...since you....obviously.... NEED to do more research. Also, please do not ask STUPID questions if you do not wish to receive obvious replies. Thank you.
-
Wow, Man..... Do I REALLY need to give you an entire course.....in just one comment? Why not just do your own research, yourself....or.....just.... Go back to school..... PLEASE!

No...because....my heart bleeds for Jeff. I, in fact, have always swooned for Beck. Here is why: Jeff's humility is only rivaled by Jimi's in your face. Every time I hear Beck, my BP goes wild.
-
I find it ridiculous that you don't know that BP changes due to environmental conditions...that's all.... If you don't know what I am talking about...then.... That is ridiculous, as well.

If you want to have a stimulating conversation with a B-Girl...then.... Always best to talk to her muff. -
This is a garbage statement because: It is the setting, and other environmental variables, that affect BP most. And, there is NO FING WAY that you can validate one of these machines based on one or two observations. This is so ridiculous to even be funny. If I need to explain it to you....then...why?
-
WTF? It's IMPOSSIBLE that they would give the same result..... Why? Because the results are always changing. Can't you understand? When you stand up, your BP changes. When you sit down, you BP changes. When you hear a noise, your BP changes. When you think a thought, your BP changes. Therefore,.....you should be able to understand what I am saying.... Right? or If not, then no worries.
-
Which, as you must realize, is.... Meaningless. a. Two doctors' offices (means diddly-squat). b. The ones at the hospital have not been tested, either. So then, what are you trying to say? Haha....no worries....

I have some suspicion that these types of BP monitors are INACCURATE. Whether or not I am correct, depends upon which study you read...maybe.... https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4889144/ I think more research is warranted before I decide on what type of device to rely on. I still love the old mercury models, though!!!
-
Where is the place to by this machine for the lowest price in Thailand? Normally, I like to use the traditional mercury type, but now expensive..and, they do not provide the mercury like the good old days. Is this really as accurate? Somehow, I doubt it. Also, the sound of the machine makes my blood pressure rise. So, I would need one without sound. OR, what about the same brand but with a stethoscope and cuff? Minus the mercury, unfortunately.

I thought he said, upon my first reading, that I would never BE a doctor. I don't want to be a medical doctor. Too much anatomy for me. -

Actually, I think this is NOT the case. We all know how many doctors make their choices of what to prescribe, and it is not based on science. Also, medical doctors are NOT scientists, and do not pretend to be. Medical doctors can also be scientists if they have had the extra education required. Or, they can, maybe, be self-taught scientists. I am speaking of the Natural Sciences...because....Social Sciences is NOT science. -

Warranty case Electrolux - they don't seem to care
GammaGlobulin replied to Schoggibueb's topic in General Topics
I once had many problems with the Electrolux microwave I bought quite some time ago. As is usually the case, even after I called the hotline, and sent many emails, a good resolution was not forthcoming. But, if the washer is in warranty, then just continue to send emails, for documentation purposes to the Electrolux headquarters...Thailand. What I finally did was to buy 3 more Electrolux microwave ovens so that, when one breaks, then I will have two working machines. Also, I never buy anything but the cheapest of any brand of microwave oven. These seem to be disposable products, and not worth the trouble of contacting/repairing. After-sales service is not great around here. So now, I do not buy anything unless absolutely necessary. Just keep sending emails, even one per day. Sooner or later, they will get tired of you, and do something to rectify the situation. Once you get to 100 emails sent, then you might be able to copy them and send them to Electrolux Europe, or something. One time when I did not get any response from a local name brand, an international brand, I just started sending copies to the country headquarters all around the world. As soon as I did that, then I got some response from the local Thailand office. Not sure if you might want to try that, however. -

No worries. I, for one, do not intend to engage in monkey chatter. However, if you are as interested in having a Japanese member of your group as you say, then the likelihood of actually having this happen will be greater if you were to use the internet to recruit candidates, worldwide, and in Japan, rather than insisting that your group be local, only. -

These days, collaboration via internet is the best way, by far. Better access to resources, and many more reasons, such as time saved not sitting in traffic, and possible return of some pandemic, etc. -
