  1. They always tell you that: "You have too much time on your hands." But, my question is: How would they know?
  2. What he actually said can be viewed HERE: He said this drone operation is too big to not be a foreign power's doing. He said it could be Iran. It could be Iran in connection with China.
  3. You can hardly expect those on skid row to pay taxes. Anyway, it is really not necessary for the bottom half of the population to pay income tax. The productivity of the USA is already so high that income tax for the bottom half can be abolished.
  4. Finally, TV has a great place for us to share important ideas. A thank-you and shout-out to the creators of this forum. Few among us could be as pleased as I to have just discovered this forum.
  5. One thing I worry about even more than drones is the coming age of advertising from space at night: What will this look like from Earth over our night sky? Like this: So then, maybe these drones have something to do with Elon's plans to dominate and monopolize the space advertising market before the Chinese do so. What we need is to have laws which ban this time of space advertising if we want to protect our night sky, which belongs to everyone, and not just to billionaires intent on increasing their wealth.
  6. Also, in the linked DailyMail article, I noted that the great Gordon Chang, out of Cornell, has opined that these drones are sent by China: I have been reading and communicating with Gordon Chang for over a decade, now, and I know his thinking quite intimately. If he says China sent these drones, then we should believe him. Also, every year, and throughout every year, Gordon tells us that China is about to fall. Gordon used to have a great blog on Forbes, beginning many years go. I loved to post on his blog. Gordon is a Christian, and he is a good man, for sure. He returns to China to see his relatives, on occasion, who are still living happily in China. Good man, Gordon....! He graduated from Cornell, an Ivy School, too!!!!
  7. It seems quite obvious to me that what is needed is the arming of citizenry in New Jersey. The best weapon of choice for these drones is some form of DEW. If only most people in New Jersey had at least one DEW, then New Jersey would be more secure. Fortunately, DEW weapons do NOT employ solid projectiles. Therefore, the DEW weapons would be far superior to just randomly shooting guns in the air, such as is the practice in some ME countries. Still, DEW weapons are plenty powerful and more than adequate in order to down almost any drone of the type people in New Jersey are seeing. Here is an image of just one of many types of DEW weapons that should be deployed to New Jersey private citizens, or any organized militia that people there might wish to establish.... All citizens in the USA, in fact, should be similarly equipped, and I just love this one, called the DragonFire weapon: Also, I always find this rag worth reading, from the RAND Corporation... https://www.rand.org/pubs/commentary/2024/01/directed-energy-the-focus-on-laser-weapons-intensifies.html You might recall RAND, and guys like McNamara. Americans must be armed to protect against drones, and balloons from China, among other dire threats.
  8. We will all have smoke... Very soon... Especially in Chiang Mai.
  9. Never have I claimed to do this. Let's keep things based on fact and not fiction.
  10. Both. Depending upon the time of day.
  11. Yes. Same exact thought as I have had many times. We can choose our environments. And, we can choose whether or not to buy from, or be influenced too much, by huge investment firms that control corporations.....to some extent. I will do my best to not become exposed to the oligarchs you speak of. This can be done. Also, try not to become sensitized by reading about sensational stories in the news.
  12. I never go outside my walled compound. Perhaps he looked at the boys in the wrong way. Is there any camera evidence? Does this guy have a history of provoking people? So much to wonder about. Since I rarely go out, and almost never go out after sundown, I feel very safe here where I am. I like the peace of mind which I very much enjoy. The only experience I have with seeing Farang picked on is when I read it in the news. Also, statistically speaking, bad things will happen.
  13. Recently, I have been dwelling upon just this same thought. American corporations are now even further into this territory of corruption than they ever were. They have become completely non-responsive to the well-being and the humanity of almost the entire US population. Decades ago, we were already aware of this never-ending trend toward ever-increasing concentration of money and power in the hands of fewer and fewer entities, meaning the few individuals and corporations and investors that possess this power. It's not strange that so many more people have now finally begun to speak of this much more openly. Perhaps, a tipping point has now been reached among the non-intellectuals? This condition cannot be changed in a pseudo-Democracy through voting, since there are no issues nor candidates that represent the real needs and wishes of the US population. Therefore, a democratic solution is not available in this type of warped false democracy. So then, your solution is?
  14. Use an AI robot to write this for you. Faster. Easier. Better.
  15. Wait. WHO does NOT realize this? Luigi? His followers? We have long known that it is those with power, large corporations, and individuals with wealth who make the laws. Even the lawmakers who pass the laws have no time to actually read the legislation that they are signing into law. Who does not know this, in this day and age? Note: When in doubt concerning what is happening in this world, and when we suspect that injustice is being done, my best advice to everyone is to just listen to my friend, and yours, Noam Chomsky. Chomsky advocates reading, and reading some more, and then still more, in order to become informed enough to know when one, or society as a whole, is being screwed and treated unfairly. Chomsky does not advocate violence. However, he understands that violence is sometimes the inevitable result of being screwed, and screwed again, and screwed without end, that can suddenly and unexpectedly cause violence and push-back. After all, we have seen this happen periodically in France, from time to time. And, Don't Think "It Can't Happen Here", either revolt or fascism. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/It_Can't_Happen_Here
  16. We still do not know, for sure, the cause of death for Hendrix. What were the contributing factors, for example? Anyway, Jimi is still more alive today than Elvis the Pelvis.
  17. No! But, judge for yourself.... Here is a sample vid that I have always enjoyed....
  18. I didn't know you, too, were a Linux Lover. Bash, as you know, is: It's FREE SOFTWARE.... Way to GO!!!!!! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bash_(Unix_shell) Sometimes.... The best things in life are FREE.
  19. Sounds to me like Sweet Fish Sauce...
  20. Very true. Also, far less crime, one might imagine.
  21. Yes. Legalize it, if you must. However, who will pay for the workers' comprehensive healthcare and health screenings, etc.? I have a plan. We should tax liaisons between sex workers and their clients. All clients should pay a health surcharge, each visit. Long visit, higher surcharge. Short visit, lower surcharge. This money can be used to provide sex workers with high-class healthcare. Also, we should insist on excellent dental care, as well.
  22. Let's all keep in mind that when Elon invests in a business, then he almost ALWAYS makes money. X is no exception. The only question is when. And, this was my question. Free Speech is important, as my fellow-alum Chomsky always says. He says that the USA is probably the only country that guarantees Free Speech, and he is correct in his statement. If you really want to know what Noam says about Free Speech, and its importance, then you might be interested in these short VIDs: Free Speech is Free Speech. There is no compromise. This is obvious. Without free speech, there is no freedom. There can be no change for the better. Obviously.
