  1. IBUPROFEN.... But, OF COURSE, I would not take IBUPROFEN if I were planning to drink beer, for very obvious reasons....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Eyes are the window to the soul. Harris' eyes are not as beautiful as the eyes of Faye Runaway.... NIKON ALL THE WAY.....!!!!
  3. Dear Sir: If I were to develop DRY SOCKET....during the next several days.... My question is: Do you think TV's Farang Pub members would be HAPPY, or....SAD? Dry Socket is not a pleasant experience. When I was in Singapore, aboard the vessel TAMPICO, an MSTS jumbojizedd WW2 tanker, we had a few chicks climb over the side, and some of them had the Dreaded Dry Socket, that you mentioned in your comment. If I get Dry Socket, I will update you. Thank you for your contribution. I always like reading your comments. Note: Here in Chiang Mai, it's raining Cats and Dogs...at the moment. I hope that the rain will cease in a few days, but if it does not....that's OK, too. I love the sound of rain outside my house. Thank the gods for Fantastic Dentists, at least a few of whom are located near the UNIT in Chiang Mai.... Take care, Sir! NOTE2: I have not had a New York Pizza in about Five Decades. I will not touch nothing less than an NYC pizza, or a Philly Cheesesteak....Once one has had the best, why touch the rest?
  4. No. Not racism, I think. Just IQ issues, and culture issues, etc.
  5. OK. I have not tried that store, yet. But, I will definitely check it out. I want good quality, similar to SERTA, etc.
  6. So then: You ARE using Cat8 cable! I prefer Cat8, but some here are trying to talk me down to Cat6. I figure, installation cost of drilling holes in walls, and also conduit, are quite a bit more expensive than paying a little extra for Cat8. And, I want faster speed between several desktops. I hate using WIFI, and always have. Re: your 50 devices... As you know, due to reasons of numerology, I prefer numbers with one or more 5-ves. I do not have many devices or connection points, simply because I do not have my refrigerator and toaster, etc, hooked up to the network. Basically, I just have 4 desktops plus an old laptop, with lousy WIFI onboard, plus two phones, and several air purifiers that need connecting by WIFI. I will also have one standalone cabinet for HDDs that need to be connected by Ethernet. So, mostly I just want faster transfer speeds for the desktops and for the HDDs, for backup, etc. Sort of like this... I am very old school, and old in the tooth. So, I have always used Ethernet for connections of high-resolution laser printers, and everything else. I love Ethernet. Re: Length of cable.... I guess the longest run will be about 15 meters. I don't want to use patch cables from UGREEN, and already have several that I purchased about 4 years ago... I do like UGREEN quality, for sure, however....
  7. No, this is my first mention of Cat8 (in this thread). OK. I will look on Amazon. Thanks for the suggestion. I like to buy from Amazon! Better customer service. Better price. Etc...
  8. 16 KG. And, I already purchased the machine.... A month ago. Works great.
  9. I am an optimist, you know. I may not outlast my Samsung refrigerator, and this has been worrying me, quite a bit, lately.
  10. I use the 3BB router. I will not need WIFI, except for phone, after I install my LAN network. Also, I do not use laptops, as you already know by now. Hate laptops.
  11. Yes. Re Bedding, I found that out, just today. I guess beds are not important in Thailand, since most people just sleep on the wooden floors. And cover themselves with grass mats, presumably.
  12. Thank you. I did mention in an earlier comment that I have used UGREEN products I buy from the UGREEN store on Lazada. I think the quality is OK. But, I just need the cable. And then, I will crimp on the connectors AFTER stringing the cable. This is an older house, and there is not much space in existing conduits. I might need to drill new holes, but hope I will not need to do so. Either way, I want to buy cable and connectors separately.
  13. Lower latency. Also, as I mentioned, there are many repeated problems with the WIFI from my router, at least here in this area. 3BB replaced router twice already. It's just not stable. And, my motherboard offers WIFI 6E, so it is not the computer. Also, for networking.... I want higher transfer speeds, up to 2Gbps..... So, LAN network is better when faster.
  14. Today, I tried to buy a King Size (SERTA) mattress protector/cover from Amazon. Really nice price. And, I would be happy to pay for the freight cost, too. I need a good one to protect from dust mites. But, the TAX to deliver here in Thailand was 120 percent. So, tax/duty on this was more than the total cost of the product and tax, in fact. What are they thinking? I am prepared to buy EVERYTHING from Amazon, in the future, simply due to relative lack of customer service from most retailers here. I like to buy from TOPS and LOTUS, because I think that they give me good customer service, and after-sales service. But, without naming names, some other stores are not up to this level. Of course, now that JIB, at least at the JIB I frequent, has begun giving me great service, then I will have no qualms, in the future, about continuing to buy from JIB. JIB has really upped their game, at least at the shop I go to. I just wish that Amazon could think of a way to take over 80 percent of retailing here in Thailand. Because, I think this would be a real help to local consumers. Also, I bet Amazon could do very well here. Of course, AMAZON was a total fail in China, even though it seems they tried hard. Maybe their problem was that they chose the wrong guys with whom to cooperate....there in China. Whoever was running the operation in China did not give it the old College TRY!
  15. Just an update: I bought this model a month ago: https://www.samsung.com/th/washers-and-dryers/washing-machines/wa6000c-top-load-ecobubble-digital-inverter-technology-super-speed-16kg-dark-gray-wa16cg6745bdst/ I am extremely pleased with it. Very quiet. I would buy again. Super Good price for the value. I am happy I chose this over a front/side-loading machine... The only thing is: The control panel lights are mostly RED. I don't like red lights. Red reminds me too much of the Chinese Communist Party flag, and also Christmas. I hate Christmas lights. One color I like is the sort of PLUM color on the Meridian Gate of the Forbidden City. Such a beautiful color. But, of course, this color was not chosen by The Gang of Four, and their ilk. Truly one of my favorite colors... But all the red lights on the washing machine sort of cheapens the look of it... And I can only assume that the display panel was designed for some low-class housewives in Burma, or some place. I do like the color of the steel casing and lid, however. Why, OH WHY, would Samsung choose RED for the lights on this machine? This is my only suggestion to Samsung...for future consideration. WHITE LED lights would have been better. This machine has a very nice inverter, too, which seems to regulate power to the motor quite well. Now, if ONLY I had 10-times more clothes to wash, then I would be happier, even...maybe...
  16. Here, just in, is the GEEK's perspective on the sinking of Mike. Or, had Mike sunk himself, even before the disaster? The GEEK always does his homework. And, the GEEK is always full of irony. Enjoy...
  17. Go Trump GO! If Harris, then I will not be able to leave the USA. I have already left. So, If Harris, then I will move to Mars or Neptune. No matter what, nothing could be worse than Harris. Even RFK JR can sense this.
  18. Why can't I find beer like this in Thailand? But, would the EIS go well with beer in Germany? And, why is real German beer so expensive here? I will not pay more than they pay in Germany. Anyway, after 24 hours, no pain...so....beer not required (urgently).
  19. Good point. Then, if Cat6... What is the best cable? Once it goes in, and installed, it would be very difficult to replace and re-install.
  20. I prefer to reduce latency using Ethernet. Also, WIFI suffers from signal interference from other local WIFI users. Also, Ethernet is more secure. And, faster transmission speeds than WIFI, even if I had a router/modem that is faster than 1Gbps, which I do not. Also, I love the LOOKS of these colored cables hooked into my machines.
  21. So what happened with the dry socket? And, don't you think it might have been the hot pizza pie and not the cold Chang that caused this in the first place? Or, it might have been that you ate hot (high temp) food on the following days, like hot soup, etc.
  22. Wouldn't you say that these dogs are far less dangerous than humans? Yet, nobody talks about banning people, or disallowing homo sapiens to breed. Aren't we trying to create a more equitable society with the likes of Harris? So, you cannot have it both ways. ALSO: Eating people is wrong, although widespread and sacred in some cultures... https://aeon.co/ideas/eating-people-is-wrong-but-its-also-widespread-and-sacred And, then you got your Jeff Dahmer types... So probably the dog in question didn't even eat Daintree.... Or, more likely, didn't have the time to do so.
  23. A fool and his dog are soon parted. Funny, though, how dog and master often look alike. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/article/2024/aug/21/police-investigate-as-man-killed-by-his-xl-bully-dog
