All/most countries have their unique culture. Mexico has a unique and varied culture. California, in many cities, now has a Mexican culture. The United States has a unique culture that is not Mexican culture. California is no longer part of the USA. California is now part of Mexico. This has always been the plan. It would be just wonderful having a black, very high-temperature, very large, radiator connected directly to one's house, just under several windows which are used to ventilate the house. And, by the way, what temperature would you say black metal sheeting might reach under direct sunlight in Thailand. And, what about the mass of the steel? And, how many hours will it require to cool down this mass in the evenings? And then, you go your radiant heat underneath this massive black radiator. So, if you want to paint it black, then go ahead.

I would not want to be so confrontational as to ask a home-owner why he chose JET BLACK to paint his roof. If you want to build a solar hot-water heater, then paint it black. But, this is not what the guy was building.

You should, seriously, think about hiring a few workers to paint your roofs...WHITE. The paint is available. You just need the will. You will save due to less thermal energy transmission from the sun to inside your houses/buildings. The energy savings can be substantial.

There are many places in Mexico safer than California....BY FAR. I really enjoyed Villahermosa..... If I were to move to Mexico, then I would definitely closely look at this city. Great place. Wonderful. Crime used to be very low....in 1991.... Not sure about today, though. Food is great, if you like Mexican food, which I do. But, not as advanced as Thailand, of course. All facetiousness aside: I really loved this small city. It was a gem. And, probably still is. If I were to move to Mexico...then.... This would be first on my list.... Hope this helps you.....
