  1. Makes complete sense. But, did we really need any study to inform us that this is very likely true? No. We knew it.
  2. I love Asia. It's all about CULTURE to me. Not about race...... I thank the gods I left the WEST....at a young age. People here in China, and Asia, are halfway civilized. I do fit in....in Asia...believe it or not.
  3. Dear Folks, Normally, I do not much pay attention to vids like this. However, this is a special case. For one thing, I can't even understand the language that some kids from south of the border are speaking in the USA, these days. For another thing, I can't even understand the lack of respect in USA's public schools, today. And, for anther thing, I can't even understand how teachers are willing to teach in USA's public schools, today. Some kid comes in drunk on BANANA No. 99, fighting the cops, and is this just pretty much emblematic of what is happening in the USA, these days. Such things as this would have NEVER happened when I was young, back in the day. But, I went to public school for only a very short time, before I quickly transferred out, and before I quickly escaped to an ALL WHITE boarding school, before I had to witness such trauma, when i was a young student. And, they wonder why the USA is going downhill, these days? Do we need some XiJingPing Thought in the USA Public School system, now, more than ever? This is really so very crazy. Sort of a dystopian Clockwork Orange. This teen can't even speak English, if what she is speaking might actually be English, which is doubtful..... What do you think? Are any of you OLDTIMERS from the USA dying to return? I am NOT.... And here is why.... A Clockwork Orange is just so much better. At least, we could understand the speech in the film. I cannot understand what this girl is saying. Is she speaking RUSSIAN? Best regards, and... The best decision of my entire life, years ago, was to leave the USA...and come to... ASIA. I love Asia.... Gamma Note: It's not just the young girl being arrested that is so off-putting to me. Actually, it is the entire room-full of dysfunctional troglodytes that is so very disgusting. And, they wonder why China/Asia is so much better????? China is BETTER, believe me, and so is all of Asia, too. Note2: So sad, really. Hopefully, someone will give this Topic a few SAD emojis.....
  4. My stories are better than yours, no matter what you might say.
  5. It's OK for you to say this in the comments section, I guess. But, since this is a FAMILY site, I would suggest that you do not include that word in any Headline of a Topic on TV.
  6. Once again. I never stated that it was a gigantic rocket. You must be mistaken. Sorry.
  7. What, concerning the informative vid from Jordan Peterson, which I linked in the original Topic, did you believe to be misinformation. I would consider it very accurate and insightful. You may not agree with JP, but this does not, in any way, mean that it is misinformation.
  8. It isn't a gigantic rocket, it is a rather modest booster (490 kN of thrust) designed for suborbital flights, Sorry. If you had read the original Topic Headline, which i shall not repeat here... THEN, you would EASILY understand that GIGANTIC was the CORRECT word for it.
  9. A gem, truly. And, it was quite isolated from the rest of the Florida dump. I recall the Homestead Hurricane. I was not there, at the time, obviously.
  10. Well, maybe I just have a mind for Thai. And, maybe you just have a mind for Japanese. Anyway, I was merely reporting that I found spoken Japanese super difficult, due to the grammar. However, since I could already read Chinese, reading Japanese was made quite easy for me.
  11. Yes, like the unarmed thief who steals into your home. Then, shoots you with a gun he found in your broom closet.
  12. No. I do NOT read the stories of other people. The root of my stories is rooted in my Mania. Should have been clear, even to you.
  13. Sorry. To clarify, I meant that some countries will "stamp out" their citizens. But, in the past, the USA never did this. When you leave the USA, at least in the past, US citizens never were stamped OUT. Whether or not they were stamped IN....I forget. It's been a very, very long time. First here in Thailand in 1971. But then, returned to USA for uni. Then back again to Asia. Have not left Asia since....1979, except for a very brief interlude in Naples FLA. That was a nice town....which is now....RUINED...judging from images and vids on the internet.
  14. But, at the very least, they achieved their dreams of becoming AstroNUTs....
  15. Yes. Agree. (Still, no matter the wording....some may still get the POINT.....)
  16. I thought, in the past, they did not "stamp you out".
  17. He stated 33 years in Japan. So, being fluent in Japanese is a no-brainer. Except, from my experience, Japanese is more difficult than Chinese or Thai. It's the grammar that is difficult.
  18. yes. Probably the main reason she went into orbit. I enjoy her music, however. Or did.
  19. How did you ever learn Japanese? One of the most difficult languages, due to grammar, etc.
  20. Next thing for him: He will join the girls swim team.
  21. Biden is cognitively disabled, as everyone witnessed. He is now the poster child, and representative? At least he has found a purpose in life. Kudos to him for this, at least.
