As I have mentioned in the past. Efficiency data is provided by the manufacturer, and is unique to each AC design. I always buy a machine with at least a SEER of 24. It matters not, to efficiency, what size you buy....except higher-efficiency units are not the large ones, but somewhere between 9000 BTU and 18,000 BTU. Larger than that, and its more difficult to design a machine which can score about a SEER of 24. =========== After buying the AC, then one can lower operating costs by adding insulation, by ensuring that the outdoor unit does not get hit by direct sunlight, and that the outdoor unit is placed so that it will get proper ventilation from the condenser-unit fan. Also, just for my bedroom, I use a 24,000 BTU unit, even though my bedroom is rather small, by my standards. Finally, if one wishes to oversize the choice of AC unit, then be sure to choose a unit which is a true inverter design. This way, the inverter can supply a range of BTU-cooling during operation. The compressor will then run more slowly when needed, and faster when needed. This is NOT true for a non-inverter design which just turns on and then off, but is unable to vary the speed of the compressor. It's rather simple really. All the info needed is on the net. As to which brand is the best in Thailand? I have no clue, and maybe most are not as good as the same brands when sold to the Japanese market, for example. However, the actual compressors used in the Panasonic brands seem to be the same, no matter what the market might be. Therefore, the Panasonic compressor, meaning the actual compressor and not the compressor unit with a possible problem fan, is quite good, and I think excellent, actually. It's only when the compressor is assembled with potential problem components, such as a defective fan, or thermostat, etc, that there may be a problem. But, I will not say, since I have never bought like 500 units, so that I could get a good samples size, large enough to draw some informed conclusion. In Conclusion: Choose a unit with a SEER of at least 24. And choose a premium brand. And choose an Inverter design, for sure. Then, after one has done all this....It's in God's hands, from there on out.

Thailand Aims to Woo Elite Tourists Amidst Regional Rivalry

I knew it. But, there is no law against, occasionally, using it as a verb....is there? -
Well, I only mention this because Tramadol and similar drugs can cause addition and difficult withdrawal symptoms. HOWEVER, these difficult withdrawal symptoms might not seriously affect EVERYONE. So, I will not tell you how to safely stop taking Tramadol. This is probably a job of a trained medical professional. I am only saying that I would not take this type of medication for more than a week.

One reason this dirt-bike is not roadworthy is its muffler system. These dirt-bikes are just too noisy for the local roads. They cause much disturbance to the community. And, they are often driven too fast. Also, other reasons these bikes should not be on the roads, which I will mention later, if anyone might be interested.

Dear Folks, Everyone, by now, is aware of the most recent mental-illness-induced truck-related fiasco in the United States, a place where not all receive the medical treatment and support they should have, and probably deserve, as taxpayers. Unfortunately, in the mainstream news, very little serious analysis is provided to us consumers by the air-heads at such news outlets as Fox and Friends. Here is a serious analysis, provided by one of my Favorite Geeks, which sheds light on the dangers of paranoia. In my view, one must be mentally unstable to even consider buying a Cybertruck, if for no other reason than the fact that it is made of stainless steel, just as Superman was the Man of Steel. This speaks to one’s grandiosity in such circumstances as this one. This video is very short, and we can actually learn quite a bit from the second-half of this video. For example, if our friends notice that we are becoming a bit overly paranoid, then our friends will be more ready to intervene before we, too, rent a Cybertruck, and then run amok. So, first, please enjoy this great video analysis. Then, share your thoughts. What turned a special-forces soldier, one who seemed to have been doing all the right things in life, to suddenly drive his Cybertruck down the wrong path in life? I knew you would enjoy this Topic, and this amazing vid. Best regards, Gamma No: I do not suffer from paranoia nor from delusions of grandeur, any more than most of you. I feel sorry to see another human being who did not get the treatment to which he was entitled, after serving his country so bravely and gallantly. Also, this video makes mention of China and Drones, and so I know you will appreciate it.

Thailand Aims to Woo Elite Tourists Amidst Regional Rivalry

I am one of the few remaining elite long-stay tourists. I would like to see new rules which make it far easier for me to tourist in Thailand. No more 90-day reports....after 10 years. Also, automatic visa renewal after 10 years. This would be good. Also, after 10 years with no infractions, this is just one less thing the authorities need to worry about. How much more elite does one need to be, than me? -
Your GF is very smart. Don't take Tramadol for more than a week. The smart doctors on Taiwan, at Taiwan University Hospital agree with your GF. Tramadol is quite an insidious type of painkiller since it has two major effects on the CNS. Just do not take it for more than 10 days. Unless, one is sure that one will soon be dead from cancer, or something.... Then...just take anything you like.

I beg to differ. For sure, I bought TWO motorcycles, a HONDA 450 and CB450. I rode them the day they arrived from the dealer. I had zero training. I had a car drivers license. No problem shifting, by the way. No problems, whatsoever. And, I knew the rules of the road, having driving cars for three years. I rode the Honda 450 from the Main Line to Marthas' Vineyard, on toll roads, and on every other kind of road. Zero problems. But, I sold it because I rode it full throttle everywhere. One of us had to go. And, I decided it would be the Honda, instead of me.

What a piece of junk. This, actually, does not even look roadworthy. And, it must be very loud. So, I would bet the old lady heard this bike, and it was the last sound she heard. I think it is very frustrating to consider that an old lady may have been rundown by a speeder, and one from another country. Still, one must wait for the facts. And, one hopes that the facts will surface in this case.

Simple. SPEED KILLS. And, it was speed that killed this January, in CM, when the old lady was plowed down by the American. Unfortunately, there is no black box in these dirt-bikes. Also, when driving, one needs to ANTICIPATE.....and too few drivers do this. They just continue at the same speed, and do not adjust their speed for the conditions and environment. I will not ride with a driver like that. NO WAY!

In the USA, you do not need to attend any training course to get a motorcycle license. You just need to be able to pass the very simple test: Also, where I got my license in the USA... a. If you have a car drivers license, then you can automatically legally ride a motorcycle. b. But, a motorcycle license will not be sufficient to drive a car or light truck, I have never heard of attending a course as being a prerequisite for getting a motorcycle license. America is not Russia, after all. Americans would be up in arms if required to take a course before receiving a motorcycle license.
